agree. it looks current gen, maybe between next & current gen at best, but definitely not full on next gen.

the animations, particles and textures are what give it away.

but it's early days soooo...

I'm not shocked , most of the multiplatforms on next generation are more like a pc version because developers are holding the games to port them to this generation for extra money instead of pushing the games like the start of this generation..

But still looks a great game. We can't judge it since we don't know enough about it. I think they said it's open world so it's still impressive , the sky is something new and the game have a mix of Uncharted and red dead which will be really fun ^^

not sure it does look too good, im looking for reasons to buy next gen on day one.... but i think i might just be disapointed like the times i bought a wii and 3ds. hope ill be proven wrong

im just seeing more and more reasons however to buy a ps3

all new next gen games tend to look current gen until like the 2nd or 3rd quarter or a full year

I have a feeling this game will suffer the "homage syndrome".

For years and years so many games copy a certain movie's format or concept (in this case Mad Max) that when the actual source material comes out with a game of it's own you already feel like "been there, done that" and in many ways the source material then becomes the copy.

I also see the Devs must not have had permission to use Mel Gibson's likeness as the character looks hardly anything like Max.

Lastly I see a few comments saying that this game looks current Gen, unfortunately we will probably see that for a year or two, some Devs get into certain habits or molds they have to break before they will expand into next gen.

The trailer was ruined when they showed Max face seriously make it look more like Mel Gibson.

Even Rico from Just Cause 2 looks more like Mad Max than this one ive seen in the trailer.

Avalanche's engine isnt particularly impressive. And I didn't see anything that screams Next Generation!

Considering this was Announced at the PS4 E3 press conference I expected to see the game look comparable to a title like the Witcher 3 in graphical performance... Wasn't hyped for the showing at Sony so I'll likely just past on this till I see PS4/Xbone footage.
