Man. I do not understand why people disagree. The game plays and sound similar to marvel vs capcom. While I am happy to see this reboot. The game just does not have that unique vibe the original version had. The original was dark. Slower paced and the combos you can just feel every hit. When Jago did that ultra. My eyebrows did not raise. The combos are too over the top. I remember doing a ten hit slow motion combo with tj combo or fulgor in the original and get goose bumps. This version just don't have that passion. I like the game and will be playing it but it just don't make me get the same feelings as the older game. And this announcer is way to cheesy. After the third combo breaker I was sick of him. I know the dislikes are coming and that's cool. but this just my opinion of a true gamer.

Sorry but as a former die hard KI fan I think people who truly enjoyed the first 2 are going to be disappointed. It looks pretty but I can tell already it doesn't have the KI feel just by watching it. The announcer sounds kind of cheesy compared to the original 2.

Keep in mind that the developers of this are the ones that brought you some horrible titles.

Silent Hill Homecoming, GI. Joe, Front Mission Evolved, MX vs ATV, Green Latern, Battleship, Harker... Yeah this is a dev I want to make KI.

Totally have played it, the game is fast in the same spirit, but different as you'd expect. Also, I've only played the SNES version of the original, so that also could change my opinion a bit.

I was a huge fan of the first 2 and got to play this at E3, it was only in the alpha stages and it already feels like KI, heck I may even go so far to say it's the best KI yet. So I can tell you "I can tell already it doesn't have the KI feel just by watching it" is a bullshit statement.

Preface: I absolutely LOVE this game and will be getting it day one.

However I kinda prefer the Glacius they showed at E3, he had the elongated skull type face Glacius was known for. The body is great I like that they kept his huge 4 fingered hands and signature feet, and the spikes were bad ass. But the head is a bit dissapointing... Oh well, ranged combo character. I know who I'm playing! haha

Man Jago was my main back in the day. Its great to see him in action again however.... I'm just a bit put off by the way this looks. I am a huge fighting gamer and I'm looking forward to the new Guilty Gear but this... I guess i'm excited but let down at the same time. Killer Instinct was never the DEEPEST fighting game, and I see they added some kind of regen ability but. I guess I was expecting some new additions to bring it up to date. I think that's what it is, It looks dated. Graphic wise it looks ok. Nothing incredible, but gameplay wise it looks truly 1997. Fighting games have just advanced so much now.

Day 1 must have then I will buy the whole roster and straight off the bat start tearing shit up with Spinal. This is one major reason to get an X1.

MS don't need to lower the price of the X1. They just need more games like K.I that no matter how much you tell yourself that you don't need it, in the end you just know you just got to have it.

I wasn't impressed with the e3 demo, didn't think it looked particularly next gen, but this video looks awesome. I used to love playing KI and while I won't be getting an x1 I can see why this would be a day one purchase.
