That coastline looks amazing and I can only imagine it in VR! Looks like an entirely new course as far as scenery goes.

GT7 will be my first game, as I want to test out my wheel - so excited - it's going to be awesome!
I got my confirmation and date (22nd) showing for the charging station. The headset itself has been in “shipped-processing” status since last Friday. I’m like dang can I see the date? I was in the first round of preorders. Whenever it does get here, I’m ready. Going to go update everything and try to get over this cold.

I know you and a lot of people are excited for VR but dont sleep on sophy, sophy is the real game changer here!
After giving sophy a run last night, i can safely say the actual racing in future GT's is going to be Fu***** amazing!!!
even on intermediate on some tracks the AI was coming back at me on my waiting for me to slip, attacking the space if i left the door open for them, honestly felt like i was racing against people and not some very limited AI that once i passed them they may as well have been eliminated from the race like GT ai normally is.
pump it up to expert and its a real challenge to stay ahead, the next level up from expert man the AI kicked my ass, like badly.
i remember when sophy was first annouced all the nay sayers said its a pipe dream and we will never see it implemented and here we are a yr later and sophy is being tested in game for us to try out and is every good as whats been promised.
VR plus racing against sophy and wowww your not gonna feal like your actually racing for real anywhere else outside of gt.
sophy will change the game in gt8

It's only for a limited time and only has 4 races but I encourage you and everyone else try it and see the difference compared to the normal Ai.

This video explains why we think Electronic Arts didn't see a future in the sim racing title Project CARS and promptly cancelled the fourth instalment.
After the last installment I’d say most hardcore fans left. It’s just not that good anymore so I can’t really blame EA this time.
It makes perfect sense. It's obviously a play on the title. Jesus christ you must be a blast at parties.
Ask Bullfrog or Black Box or Tiburon or Studio 33 or Criterion or any of the previously acquired developers who made racing games as competition, or as developers of EA games, then eventually dissolved into oblivion or reassigned. Just ask them. They'll tell you why.
Oh. I forgot. Even Code Masters were absorbed into Criterion. Another racing developer EA took over.
Every racing developer either absorbed by EA or eventually destroyed by them. They either kill competition or have them in the end make Need 4 Speed for them.
Not when it's because it didn't meet some crazy margin. It's like if something doesn't make EA a billion dollars on day one (I'm exaggerating that figure of course), they swiftly put it out to pasture.
Much like if you're spending money on what's a bad investment for your desired goals, you'd do away with it, if you're wise. We should try to get away from thinking we know more about business than individuals that have been doing it for decades. Perhaps you could benefit from going into business instead of wasting all of your talents in comment sections. It's clear that you're the missing piece that EA's been looking for.

If it's just going to be another sim-cade that doesn't do either one correctly then no thanks.
Project CARS 2 was a step in the right direction but the physics still aren't where they should have been, so what did they do for PC3? Go completely arcade. That killed the franchise.

I thought project cars looked better, a bit more detail in the scenery, better sun effects, a bit sharper, but I was also expecting to be blown away by project cars and that's not the case from this.
Video wasn't great quality though, but I didn't think there was too much in it imo
Project cars definitely looks better.
Project Cars has a better lighting system than GT6, you can tell. Doesn't mean that GT6 doesn't look great though, because it does.
Project cars does look better in terms of background details, lighting, view angle etc but it also looks like comparing PC graphics v PS3
