Playstation 4 Exclusive Titles: Forget The Xbox One

After E3, it seemed as though Sony had everything under control and that there was no chance for Xbox to compete with their horrible DRM and price. It seemed hopeless that they could even make a case for themselves. Since then, they have reversed their DRM and are now getting some notoriety for the exclusives coming to the Xbox One. Well, let’s just slow down for a second and take a look at all the awesome games that will be coming exclusively to the Playstation 4 that I think still give it an edge over the Xbox One. These are just a few.

It's called console exclusive actually, in a sense it is exclusive but even someone who owns a 3ds can play em on the pc.

@ nick I would say 95% of PCs cant play these games at a level xb1/ps4 will play them so it is a big deal that they are on 1 particular console.

U make a valid point. Although even though its coming to Xbox first, Playstation isnt out of the question because the Titanfall IP is still owned by EA and the depending on the deal that Microsoft and EA have in place, who knows what will happen.

Who's saying Titan Fall is an Xbone exclusive? If you look in just about every article claiming this, there's multiple people saying how it's on 360/PC.

Not to mention, during the entire PS3/360 era, PS3/PC gamers kept going on about how certain games weren't 360 exclusives because they're on PC. That shouldn't change simply because now multiple PS3/4 games are on PC as well.

Lol what?? No one here can claim Titanfall is X1 exclusive because they're constantly reminded on here that its on PC and just a timed exclusive.

People here have been saying that they'll be playing Titanfall on PC anyway. So by that logic, there's no reason why future non PS4 owners can play the gamers featured on this list on PC's either.

But, forget the fanboy flip flopping; I think it's a HUGE thing to be able to play these games on consoles just like how Titanfall, even if it is a multiplat/timed exclusive, is a big deal.

I am in the beta, it is really fun, was gonna get the PS3 version, but the beta can frame dip at times, nothing unbearable but I figure the PS4 version wont have that issue... If I turn out wrong I will be getting the PS3 version anyways.

Ah yeah, haven't tried the PS3 version of the beta, but if that's an issue on that version I'd assume the PS4 version won't have it with the upgraded hardware. Considering the PC one runs quite smoothly for me even at the highest settings. (My hardware is getting a little dated now, so it shouldn't be a problem for the PS4.)

FFIV was a failure when released on PC... A year and a half of development won't fix it...

Planetside 2 is already on PC...

Killzone and infamous are next iterations of those franchises.

Unmentioned was Drive Club... This is nothing compared to GT.

All are good, but hardly a reason to buy a PS4... Especially when FFIV is also on PS3. A JRPG, 2 shooters, and a racing game.

X1 has Deadrising 3, Forza 5, Ryse, Killer Instinct, and Kinect Sports Rivals. Zombie game, racing game, action game, and fighting game...

Scary, but MS has a more diverse launch lineup! To boot MS has no shooters in their launch lineup while Sony has two shooters.

Dead Rising was also a new IP. It's a well stablished and loved franchise as this point. Many people (including myself) are getting a PS4 but would LOVE to play Dead Rising 3. No matter what fanboys say, Dead Rising 3 looks fantastic and I'm certainly jealous I won't be playing it at launch due to the Xbone. One can hope it will release on PC/PS4 at some point.

Killer Instinct is a very well-known and liked fighting franchise. Maybe you weren't born yet, but 90's gamers loved the franchise. Rare did not develop the new one, so I don't know why you are commenting about them.

Deadrising 1 was one of the most successful launch 360 titles. Show me, any article that says Deadrising 1 was a failure. You are probably the only person that thinks that.

One of them is made by a team with multiple awards and accolades. It is also directed by the man responsible for ensuring the release of Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Ratchet & Clank, and Jak & Daxter.

killzone shadow fall ill take over ryse because killzone shadow fall isn't a bunch of qte's also killzone has 007 goldeney like mission structure so you can complete them in your own order and they are in big levels so that you can back track and such. 007 goldeney was awesome on n64 when rare was still good.

I'm not going to be stupid or ignorant like most of the PS4 fanboys here and pretend that the XboxOne will have no great exclusives.
I will be getting both the PS4 and XONE because I know for a fact that both will be competing heavily on exclusives and exclusive content/DLC.
Other than RYSE, a lot of the XONE games shown were pretty impressive. The new Halo looked great, and the new KillerInstinct looks amazing for a free-to-play game.

Also, I'm a huge fan of the Resistance franchise,and the developers "Insomniac games" are making Sunset Overdrive exclusively for XONE. Their games are well known for being over-the-top fun.

I'm looking forward to both consoles.

Im in day 1 with the PS4 but im not going to pretend nothing interesting is happening on the other side.. Im just going to hedge my bets and see how many titles overspill onto windows before considering the xb1. (Also, ms need to stop treating everyone like idiots before i'd feel ok supporting the platform)

Launch windows are pretty bad barometers of anything too. Theres going to be enough to play regardless.. I got some seriously weird games in the early days of the ps2 and ps3 and its often the experimental or shaky games that have been most memorable.

I made a blanket statement regarding my own feelings on the subject. I couldn't care less about most of the xb1s exclusives either. There are undoubtably quality games there though and at the end of the day, regardless of whatever has already been announced there will be system selling games that should be experienced.

There is a significant chunk of people every generation who completely disregard everything on a competing system regardless. If the same games were on their platform they'd lap them up and think them assets. It's ridiculous.

ps4 has more pros and when making decisions you look at the past present and future and the playstation 1, 2 showed the awesome games all the tim in the past ps3 showed the awesome games in the present even this year while the xbox 360 has nothing nada zip and the ps4 already starting out with heavy hitters with killzone and infamous for the not to distant future. the xbox one games people are naming are third party developed rushed games or throw away games none of them have the quality, production values, story, deep gameplay mechanics that these ps4 games are gonna be having and the devs from these ps4 games actually have good ratings for the last games they made.

Had to laugh when in the article he says kill zone looks to be the top dog in next gen FPS games. They have been saying stuff like that since the first Killzone game. Trying to dub it the "Halo Killer". Only ever played a little of Killzone 2 and 3 myself. Didn't really think much of it. Hopefully the next one is a step up from the past. Graphics certainly look nice on the new one.

I will eventually buy a ps4. But I already have warframe, DCUV, and plantside on my pc all thanks to steam. So sony has to show me more real exclusive games to make me change my mind in getting it first and killzone and infamous isnt doing it at all.
