Muramasa Rebirth Review | Slant Magazine

Slant Magazine: "The game occasionally falters as a portable port because of its refusal to use the Vita's technological capabilities for anything other than enhancing things strictly on a superficial level."

So, because they kept the game intact and added beautiful HD graphics and new bonus DLC incoming they crap it because touch screen controls weren't forced upon the end user? This game is a 4.5/5 for me.

wow, all you took was the quoted piece here, read the entire thing and he justifies his score. Its the trolling and hitseeking reviews that bother me, this reviewer defended his score and gave praise where it was due, plus 3/5 is a good score.

This is a great game. Just finished Kisuke's campaign and the boss battles are amazing. 4.5 from me too.

The reviewer seems to have completely forgotten to review the game for how well it does what it tries to do, and instead is lambasting it for all the things it didn't try to do, and for the games that it is not.

That counts as a fail in my book.

As for myself, 8/10. It's a little on the short side, but there's quite a bit of replay value. The music and graphics are superb, though, and I can't really find any serious gripes to complain about.

Great game as I'm 4 hours into momohimes play through but can anyone tell me how much game time I can expect with both storylines & finishing everything.

From what I remember of the wii version (and supposedly this version is longer with dlc and whatnot) it'll probably take you around 16 hours to get through both campaigns if you don't try to make all the swords.

Took me about 8 hrs for kisuke's story

10 Games That are Best on Vita

VGChartz's Adam Cartwright: "Thanks to the timing of the Vita’s release and its relative power compared to the home consoles at the time (PS3 & Xbox 360), it saw the benefit of a number of these late ports which have remained the ‘definitive’ versions to this day. It’s these games that I’m aiming to look at in this article – titles that are best on Vita by virtue of extra bells and whistles, tweaked controls, and content, or in some cases just a general feeling that Sony’s portable hardware is the most enjoyable way to play."

Gravity Rush, still great, but the screen aiming made it better on Vita

Rating Each of the Vita's Localization Studios

VGChartz's Adam Cartwright: "What I aim to examine in this article is the output of each of the major localization companies, in terms of what they released, what they chose not to release (including when they localized titles for other platforms but skipped the Vita version), as well as some brief commentary on the quality of their translations, before providing an overall rating on their support (outstanding -> amazing – > good -> solid -> poor).

A large part of the reason I love Vita so much is thanks to its brilliant selection of Japanese games and that’s really what I want to celebrate here, but also lament some of the missed opportunities we had along the way."
