Amazing number's!
I will keep my eye on this game.. it does looks interesting and unique.

Abriael3935d ago

It's actually a pity that it's unique. It used to be a fairly common genre long ago.

SITH3935d ago

That is so true. I am glad someone had the balls to revive a genre that was pretty much extinct. The reaction has been legendary.

starchild3935d ago (Edited 3935d ago )

I completely agree. Still, I can't wait for Star Citizen. I also can't wait to play it in the Rift.

That is a lot of money to invest in a game that might not be any good. It looks like it has the potential to be a solid game, but that is a lot of money....Hopefully they spend it efficiently.

jagstar443935d ago

wonder what they could do if they had 100 million like most blockbuster games

SITH3935d ago

Really, 100 million like most blockbuster games? Most blockbuster games are NOT 100 million to make.

And with my life time insurance for my Constellation, and Origin Jumpworks 300i purchases, I HELPED!

ChozenWoan3935d ago

Got my Aurora with LTI as well as S42 digital, thinking about adding the Freelancer to the mix.

The_KELRaTH3935d ago

I went with the Freelancer LTI and a custom skin. Looking forward to a bit of Privateer style trading and exploration :)

wastedcells3935d ago

I gotta get in on this action. So many choices. Hmmmm.

FragMnTagM3935d ago

I love the direction this one is headed in. Finally something that is going to push my computer, not only in hardware, but in defining a genre with a bad ass game.

Abriael3935d ago

If only half of modern game designers were "fools" like Chris Roberts, the game industry would be better.

Well I guess they couldn't have done so within the last two decades working on the game so probably it'll take another two decades

peppeaccardo23d ago

Oh look it's a Reddit moderator in the thumbnail.

Knightofelemia24d ago

All that money and a key feature will be added later wow.

RonnySins23d ago

I don’t comprehend how some people still defend this scam.

anast23d ago

Anyone that bought Mario games for the last 30 years would also fall under this category.

DarXyde22d ago

I quite enjoy my Mario games, thanks.

Personal Hangars sound brilliant for what is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious games in the galaxy.
.
And worth it too, you only need to make a $10,000 donation…
.
..to get on the waiting list.

Knightofelemia24d ago

Just a giant blackhole simulator sucks up everything in sight really loves money from the fools.
