This is cool, sharp is also making them using the (IGZO) LED- http://bit.ly/17S6LKZ

Yeah it cost about 5500 right now but give it a few years, it will probably be more affordable in about 2 years when 4k content starts to take off..

The_Troll_Whisperer3948d ago

Yes, exactly. Right now it's only available in 30 FPS due to the HDMI 1.4 standard but like you said in a few more years these things will be cheaper and and more distributed like Blu-ray was in 2006.

ZoyosJD3948d ago

The article says $3500, and it supports higher than 30 FPS at 4k through displayport.

The best time to consider 4k would be with a Radeon HD 9970 or GTX 880 purchase.

Otherwise only a SLI/crossfire solution would be viable.

umm... ill use my 1080p monitor.

Corpser3948d ago

Yeah still expensive, 1480p and 1600p are more reasonable

jeffgoldwin3948d ago (Edited 3948d ago )

The best 1480p/1600p has a lag time of 5-8ms, which is border line too slow for some people for quick fps gaming. Now this monitor (didn't see the ms rate listed), Im going with a 8-10ms lag. No ty.

not worth it when you can get a 39" 4k tv for under $700 only issue is that it's 30hz but if you wait 6/7 months from now even the cheap 4k TV's will be able to due 60hz!

TMNT Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants review - Games Asylum

Games Asylum: "Well, this is neat. As the name suggests, Wrath of the Mutants is the rarest of things – a genuine arcade conversion. With most modern arcade games being ticket redemption machines, this is something seldom seen. In fact, the last arcade conversion we can recall was Raw Thrill’s own Cruis’n’ Blast on Switch back in 2021. This is also based on an older iteration of TMNT, harking back to the series from 2012-2017. It’s essentially breaking franchise continuity (we’ve had two different iterations of the Turtles since) and could even be considered nostalgic for a select few – those who grew up with 2012’s Turtles are probably in their late teens."

It must be frustrating for these devs to see Helldivers 2 absolutely devour their lunch lol

VenomUK44m ago(Edited 35m ago)

-Oh my God, this game looks like a complete rip-off of Helldivers II!

-At least it gives Xbox players the chance to experience something similar to the PlayStation game!

Jokes aside it does make you wonder why Sony, who owns the IP for both, is continuing with two products when there is such overlap. Should it one day make a new Starship Troopers film or a Helldivers film instead?
