Andrew M writes: "Almost three decades after the release of the original, Microids has announced that Flashback 2 will launch for console and PC in 2022."
I have zero faith in the execution after how bad that remake was.
Doesnt need a sequel.
An award-winning action-adventure game, developed by Paul Cuisset in 1992, Flashback holds a Guinness record and is one of the first games to use rotoscope technology for realistic animations. In it, you travel the universe in the year 2142 with amnesia stricken protagonist Conrad while he dives headlong into an insidious alien plot. This game will no doubt prove a time capsule of memories for some and nothing can ruin that. However, for those of you who have never played the original, Flashback Mobile offers a somewhat different experience.
This game was cutting edge on debut. I want to think I may have had this on 3DO, can’t remember. Maybe SegaCD.
Great game remember fondly playing this game on my Amiga 500 Plus back in the day,it was a breath of fresh air at the time and a classic ever since, and who remembers jolly rogers cook book??......
They are going to screw this up. The graphics are what made this game so special. It's just going to be a generic platformer now.
