Would you be ticked off if you found your face in a video game?

Yip, what would you do if you came across a character that resembled you in a video game? Would you be ticked off, annoyed, or sue the hell out of the company that decided to use your unique facial features within their game?

I think Ellen Page has her own reasons to be honest. Specially considering that she is also part of Beyond Two Souls, which seems to be competition for TLOU, considering the demo/ trailer showed something that was on par with TLOU, so I guess that? Also, because TLOU seemed to use Ellen Page as a character to get more attention based off her innocent look, but then again, it could be just the character; we will never know D:

There are realistically only so many combinations of facial features on a human. With enough time and tech you could make enough virtual people to have one that looks like everyone.

I'd rather my face was used for a cool character, but I wouldn't mind being the comic relief either, like the guy with the runs in Metal Gear. Just give me a cool death if I have to die before the end.

I think the whole Ellen Page thing was blown up way bigger than it should have. I was there for the Reddit AMA and it really wasn't a big deal. That is, until the gaming media decided that day was a slow news day.

Depends on how big my presence would be.. as a main character, I'd be probably raise a brow.

As a side character or some regular goon. I'm fine with that w/o consent.

Depends on the circumstance.

If I was an actor where my likeness is part of my trade I would sue if there was no consent.

But, if I was not an actor and my likeness was specifically used, I might also have a problem with it. This assumes that it is proven that my likeness was used, and still had no consent.

If it was done by someone I know personally, no big deal.

But, that's all hypothetical as I am not an actor and I highly doubt anyone would want to go through the trouble of modeling my ugly mug for a video game. Probably hurt sales if they did:P
