Hardcore Gamer: While the games are casual and fun, this port doesn't make a lot of sense to us. Angry Birds already has a good thing going on these mobile platforms that were basically made for its kind of gameplay, and these console releases seem useless.
Techtorial: Target is now slashing the prices of several video games including Final Fantasy X | X-2 - HD Remaster Limited Edition and more.
Crap deals. If you have Amazon Prime the deals on Amazon beat these every day of the week not just when Target tries to disfoint them.
What can possibly be said about Angry Birds that hasn’t been said a million times already? A game that started out as a humble iPhone app just four years ago has now permeated our culture in a huge way. There are multiple sequels to the original game, toys, books, an animated television series, and it’s nearly impossible to walk down the street without seeing someone donning an Angry Birds t-shirt, Baseball cap, or some other swag. Once you’ve accepted the fact that Angry Birds is here to stay, the question then becomes “why?”
Ken McKown writes: When I finally sat down to put words to paper on Angry Birds Wii U, I was left wondering what else I could say that hasn’t already been said. Angry Birds is the biggest thing in gaming right now. Love it or hate it, everyone knows it, and nearly everyone has played it. That made me wonder why it was so late hitting the Wii U, the console it seems most likely to fit on. The use of the touchpad along with the audience seems ripe for the picking, but then again it is also $50 for a set of games anyone can obtain for one tenth of that on other platforms.
I don't see the appeal in these games. Fair enough if you have it as an app and you play it for a few minutes here and there.
Just what the doctor ordered! This will TOTALLY save the Wii U! More old ports! Yay!
I honestly think the game has ran its course. Specially with clones of the game out there in cellphone land.
should revamp it... Angry Nerds... sling shot wii u gamepad's into 1st party nintendo studios. instant win.
gee I can't say I was looking forward to this one.
