Would much rather have a sale on newer games. PS1 games are relatively cheap anyway, but I only ever consider buying newer games off the store when they're on sale because of the ridiculous pricing.

In the US, people will make EU PSN accounts and still be able to download/buy every game they want :D

there are homebrew ps1 emulators available for ps3 too.

but while using them you dont get any guarantee whether a particular rom will work or not unlike when you purchase from psn.

Well Microgenius some of us prefer to support the industry instead of just our own convenience. Lol I am pretty sure if the industry collapsed, you would express so much angst without taking any accountability for what you could have done to help it flourish. Not saying you getting PS1 games for free is going to destroy Sony, but I am 100% sure that if someone wanted something you had you would not appreciate them just walking in your house to STEAL it. We should add to the industry not take away from it. Lmbo

I agree with supporting the industry and i always buy games but with if i have purchased that game already years ago in my youth and maybe even twice (the plat versions) then shouldn't i be entitled to emulate.

Yep, I emulate the games that I buy. No harm in that, considering you've already purchased them. Especially so for PS2 and Gamecube titles. Considering you can bump up the resolution so much. :]

I'm waiting on Brave Fencer Musashi. Would love to see Megaman Legends as well but I rememeber reading something about how they can't because of some licensing issues with the actors :/

I loved playing monster rancher. I loved putting inc CDs to see which monsters i get. Then I would grow attached to those monsters.

Then they took them away from me :(. Poor Suezo.

I understand what you guys are saying about emulating what you own, but what micro was saying about not paying is what I was refuting. I understand if you want a digital copy of a game you paid for, asdo I, but to advocate STEALING over supporting an industry we all love is unacceptable. This is definately something that needs to be corrected before it gets any further out of hand.

i understand your point and also appreciate your logic but to me supporting industry ((particularly SONY)) is to purchase their current products which is more profitable for them i have spent 1500+ this gen just for games let alone my YLODed launch phat and new console etc...[never regret cause i played with it to death ;-)]
but i dont think getting 2 or 3 1$ games for free would hurt sony or industry

I remember the day i bought my ps1 i was 17 i think and had saved up for months to get it when it came out, those where the days very exciting...................... ....but the good thing is i am getting that same feeling now about the ps4 and im in my 30s lol. Sony really know what they are doing i tell ya, if you like gaming dont miss out on the ps4.

FF7 on the PS1. I know my PS hated me. I didn't turn that system off for 30 days straight.

I played this for the first time on my Vita to see what the fuss was about - love it!

And you get to map the controls, even adding front/rear touch if you like. I think the controls sometimes don't age as well as the gameplay/story, so this breathes new life into older games :)

And of course, it looks prettier on the OLED screen and you can adjust screen sizing ;)

I'm afraid to revisit it. I don't want my memories tarnished by the dated graphics. I'm glad you have the chance to experience it. The story is one of the best ever written for a video game (of course that is highly opinionated).
