After everything he played or person he talked to, this is the best at E3. Every time anyone started talking specifics (technical jargon) he would day dream about what he saw last.

To be honest this is how most gamers get when they go to E3. You are so excited to play any and everything that you got lost in a dream world. E3 for gamers is better than Christmas for kids.

Conan really really seemed to enjoy playing Mario Kart on the Wii U.

It's tragic because I too believe that it is fun, but as fun as it may be, the Wii U is destined to be a market failure because Nintendo callously launched the Wii U before it was truly ready.
And by the time it finally gets good games under its it's belt, it will be surrounded by such bad press and negative stigma, that hardly anyone's going to get the chance partake in its fun.

It's a shame.

What? it's getting good games before the year is out. In the end it's gonna be the console with the most time on the market at the lowest price point next gen. There will be tons of games on the competing consoles you'll also be able to get on pc. Nintendo is the only system that will offer Nintendo games.

When all 3 are out, xbone will be the system with a stigma when it comes out, ps4 will be the golden child, wii U will be the other console that has all the nintendo games and costs the least. Conan really loved that game; but notice that he played it exactly like the sixaxis plays when you use it in a driving game; that's how good the sixaxis was, but was not used to it's potential on simpler games that are just for fun like Nintendo does.

People give me crap when I say that Lair was probably one of the best new experiences I've had this gen because of that type of control, but Conan justifies what I said (although I don't think he'd enjoy it without a bunch of practice).

@pixel i dont know about you but i have lair and i cant finish it the frame rate drops to 10fps alot and the screen tearing was brutal. and the sixaxis controls were a buggy mess. esp trying to direct the dragon in a opposite direction. i love the concept of lair man i seriously hope they remake it for ps4 or do sequel all it needed was better frame rate. flying a dragon fighting huge armies with catapults, while dealing with other dragons in the sky fps is crucial sony should never have optimized that game for 1080p, the fps suffered a great deal no hi paced Aerial combat game can ever be successful with crappy fps. sonys promises of 1080p games killed an amazing game. its so sad that game could have been a solid ip for sony :( dragons are awesome.
if anyone disagree's with me i can put lair into my ps3 and try to play it while video taping its terrible esp for someone that pc games as well, and already struggles with aerial combat in general.

@pixel I've played six axis and I played mario Kart 8 at best buy, No, it doesn't control anything like six axis because unlike six axis... it actually works. I was easily able to steer and even wiggle the wheel on turns to get drift boost on my first go. Nothing like six axis.... sorry.

I also own the game and I've seen it go down in framerate too, but it was rare (as in once since I've owned it) plus there's walkthroughs online and I haven't seen one that did that constantly to 10fpa like you said. Try putting your demos, music and downloaded games/pics in a folder. That might help (keeping those animations in memory might be sapping-up the memory from the game. Try getting rid of old data and old demos, that might help.

As far a gameplay If you're truly having a problem, look on my n4g blog, I put a review of it and instructions (I got all golds and am in the top 100 worldwide).

I play Warhawk with the sixaxis, and I fly the warhawk and the jeep with the sixaxis, so it's not the controller, you might not get what's happening.

It's not complicated, nor laggy, nor unresponsive; so you might want to calm down a little when you play, some games do require concentration and precision.

No offense, I was the same way when I played with it, it's just very responsive, so you have to see when you're over-steering and stuff. Again, look on my blog and I have instructions for Lair, and that'll probably show you what you're doing wrong.

Talking to the Mario voice was the best part; it was cool because I've never seen him before (Mario is easily one of the all time best characters) and I often wonder what he looked like, but at the same time you could look at the eye contact between the two when the guy was doing his thing and he was like "This is what my life has come to; doing voices like this to another grown @$$ man..."

When Conan said "That's so, so.... tragic" I had to laugh because I was thinking almost the exact same thing; but in all honestly, being paid to voice a legend is a great accomplishment in itself. That's like voicing Marcus Fenix, or Rico Velasquez, or Solid Snake. I should be so lucky. I hope that guy realizes how many people wish they were in his seat and counts his blessings.
