@ Nyxus
Great work as usual

On a side note can you tell me you is voicing Hal's father Huey in MGSV.

Nyxus3955d ago

It hasn't been announced yet. I assume it will be Christopher Randolph though.

Need4Game3955d ago

Good work Kojima, don't waste your time on Gimmicky Kinect & SmartGlass "Gameplay". More Focus on the Great Story.

Eamon3955d ago

Yeh I doubt Hideo Kojima has any intention to replace the Emmerich voice.

I don't perceive this mo-cap news as good news, to be honest. I was actually hoping that they had finished all the mo-cap stuff.

I was hoping for a holiday 2013 release date, but not sure how likely it is as they are still doing mo-cap work.

Shuyin3955d ago

The fact that they still do mo-cap probz means they're still quite far away from releasing the game. I assume we will see it in Q1 or Q2 of 2014.

Man...I want me some MGO3..

;(

angelsx3955d ago

That mean the game is far way from release?

Rynocirator3955d ago

Not necessarily, mo cap in this sense is being used for the cutscenes involving hand to hand (cqb) combat, I would assume. You obviously saw gameplay and animations that were mo cap quality in that 9 min trailer they showed. All they need to do is do the mo cap for these said scenes and place them in where they had no cut scenes before. Do a bit of debugging, testing, and the scene is golden. They already did the major mo cap for the gameplay long ago is my guess.

KrimsonKody3955d ago

I don't think that mo-cap would actually take that long. I think mo-cap would be used primarily for characters to "express" themselves in cutscenes. Other things, like soldier movement, common gestures, etc., can be rendererd & generated, rather than doing a mo-cap for each & every basic soldiers' movements.

evidently you have no idea how game design and mo cap work -_-

I'm guessing OD will also be coming to PlayStation, as the trailer states for all players lol

RhinoGamer8874d ago

Love to know how much he works on a game. 10% effort --- 90% credit

Ever see the credits of a Kojima game? The guy is a machine and does so much for his projects.

Trilithon73d ago

hes a decision maker. people don't always agree. but at least he has made a decision. imagine how many execs wanting the main characters outfit to have flowers cause their daughter likes flowers. this the power of being independent. only the real fans breathing down his neck
