The Last of Us' multiplayer, though it does follow the same third-person play style, is very different from what we normally play today. By combining the core fundamentals of a multiplayer game with the same intense suspense that you get from the single-player, the multiplayer is surely one feat to be proud of.
"The Game Music Foundation are today very proud and pleased to announce an additional concert, circling back to the roots of Game Muisic Festival in Poland. On April 28th, 2024, the National Forum of Music in Wroclaw will once again become a place to celebrate the art of video game music, featuring scores from The Last of Us and The Last of Us Part II." - The Game Music Foundation.
Najam from eXputer writes "It's time fore a new installment in the series, not another pointless remaster."
They are working on something new. Not to be rude but it is impossibility stupid to think ND next major announcement is going to be a remaster or their next Last of Us entry is going to be another remaster.
The team is sad for losing out on such a great project but celebrates its growth because of spending time on it.
All they had to do was make a basic online mode like their previous games. Instead they wanted more money and choose to go live service which makes games worse in my opinion.
What a waste of time and money, what a shame.
Not sure why they didn’t just make Factions 2. There was no need to make it a live service.
TLoU Factions was a great addition such a shame they couldn’t be bothered to remaster that for PS5 considering the crazy high price tag of the remaster of a remaster…
This is something to be celebrated. This studio is smart and they get it, even factions 2 wouldn't've have been worth the time. I am surprised they didn't just remaster the first one though, but actually how popular was Factions?
Even though it isn't the best multiplayer game I have ever played, it does a terrific job keeping you coming back for more. It is definitely different from games like Battlefield 3 and Call of Duty, but that should be commended. The Last of Us continuously gives you the opportunity to grow your character and even take care of a survival community built around your Facebook friends. With the use of an in game shop where you can buy stuff, crafting, and limited ammunition, it is definitely a breath of fresh air from the standard run and gun multiplayer that many are accustomed to.
9/10
i'm gonna give it a go after i finish the SP, which I have been taking my sweet time with, savoring every moment. Without spoiling anything lets just say I woke up all wet.
Once I'm done I will give the MP a go, are there any new details about the season pass content. I'm tempted due to the additional SP content.
FTA:
" However, the system becomes broken at a certain point. Say you have somewhere between 120-150 survivors, that would mean you would need, every match, somewhere between 120-140 supplies, which is absolutely impossible without boosting. It’s not possible. Trust me. I’ve tested it and with the challenges that pop in and can wipe out 20% of the population, there is not enough to keep up with supplies. It needs to be toned down, and it saddens me to know that I may never get some unlockables due to this system unless it gets patched. This system is great, but has huge cons."
Is this true? If so hopefully ND will fix this in an update.
Pretty much sums it up. I came to the last of us for the single player and loved it, but I'm surprised that I'm so addicted to the MP.
meh, I don't have tiome for the multi I haven't touched it since I played the epic SP game on hard. I will get back to playing it again, right after I play ALL of my ps3 games over. Getting ready for ps4...
I'm a retard. I got hooked to the MP after the brilliant SP then I lent the game to my friend cause he wanted to play it badly.
Now I don't know what game to play because nothing can stand up to last of us.
