PS4 have 2 bundles and a standard edition in the top 10.
The PS4 Day one edition already sold out a week ago. Pretty much that $399 helped a lot.

Now Sony need to reveal those 15+ exclusives games for PS4 at Gamescom and it will boost again.

Last time i checked the Xbox One is sold out at gamestop.Also number 1 on amazon U.S and U.K.Microsoft learned early fixed the problem and are destroying the PS4 as of right now.They wasn't gonna screw up like sony did with the PS3.Since you have your crystal ball and can see the future how about the lottery numbers?

Amazon's best sellers are items that keep selling more because it's an hourly thing that goes by percentage. If one item sells more in that category, even if another has sold more overall, it'll be higher ranked. This is why Xbox One is in first place on best sellers. The PS4 day one edition will keep going down in rank because it can't sell anymore.

However if you look at this link, still in Amazon. Best sellers of 2013 in video games. This is an accumulation of all video game related items sold in 2013. Playstation 3 is in second place while Xbox One is in sixth.

In the UK, the PS4 is number four in best sellers of 2013 in video games. At the moment, Xbox One is number 63.

But it wasn't a mistake. Microsoft invested millions of dollars and thosands of man-hours to create the DRM infrastructure for Xbox One.

Sony pushed the BluRay format for themselves. If publishers want to opt out of disks, it ain't gonna happen.

Again, as we just recently learned, publishers need SONY astronomically more than SONY needs them. They cannot survive on Xbox alone. They need the other 80 million to survive. Why would Sony agree to remove the format they pushed for?

People can sugar coat it however they want, but Microsoft are still the same company. In fact, the only person who was ever held to rights over anything was Adam Orth, who basically revealed the real truth.

However, while Microsoft should be praised for going back on the decision the whole lead up was pathetic.

The fact is that MS is trying new things with family sharing, play your games from any consoles, and have all your games saved in the cloud, so sacrifice needed to be made to prevent abuse of these new features like the 24 hour check. They read the outcry, the moans, and complaints so they decided to change it 5 months before the thing is even sold.

It is not like they plant a rootkit on CDs and not informing the public about it and only when they got caught is when they decided to stop the operation. Wait, isn't Sony the one that did that? Are you guys going to forget about what Sony did? It just didn't nearly happened, it did happened.

Most of the features didn't need a 24 hour check. It was actually very unnecessary.

A one time verification and authentication check would have worked for most of them.

A frequent check is indeed necessary if you are going to have a share library, allow for retail trade-ins and gifting. If there is no mandatory check, the owner that trade in the disc copy to Gamestop will still have the game in the harddrive and can play it as long as he is off-line and all of his family/friends on his share list will still be able to play the game in his share library; thus, that is abusing the system. Steam doesn't have share capability, selling games back to retailers, or gifting in either download or the retail copy so an activating code would of course work in that system setup.

The "share library" was never ever going to be what you believed it was going to be. The "pushing forward and innovative" Microsoft was really the "restrictive trying to control the market" Microsoft, but hidden behind half-truths and the good ol' smoke and mirrors tactics, that MS is well, well known for.

Do you actually believe Microsoft, or in fact publishers (the ones who complain about losing customer to used games and not buying games), would allow a person who bought a game once to share it for free in full, with 10 of their friends. Do you know how much revenue that would sacrifice for publishers?

It was never going to be like that, and thus it was never going to be worth the mountainous restrictions across the rest of the box.

The playing your games on any console, already exists. It's called buying your game digitally, logging into another console and downloading it. It's also called being given the option to buy your game as a physical package and being able to do what you want with that physical product - lend to a friend, sell it like you can sell any other physical item.

Hmmm...funny you should bring up Sony in DRM issues such as this. The problem with the Sony rootkit was that it was installed without the user knowing about it. It wasn't made known to the user of it's existence, or it's purpose. It also introduced many security holes to Windows that malicious programs could take advantage of, even if those programs had no intention of using those holes. Sony's rootkit wasn't in itself malicious. Just a form of copy protection at a time when copying CD's was rampant.

It also wasn't technically a rootkit, just employed some rootkit type characteristics in how it operated...but the results were similar.

Now, you seem to have a problem with Sony for doing such a thing in the name of copy protection, and rightfully so. I'm curious why you don't have a problem with MS also doing the same thing in a different way. Is it because MS is being up front about it?

In the past few days I've come to realize that way too many people are cheering on the adoption of DRM. I'm really curious as to why now, there are so many people eager to have DRM in their games. When did DRM start being welcomed with open arms? What changed in the past few weeks? Oh...that's right, MS wants to do it now, so that makes everything OK. Doesn't the fact that something so unanimously hated for so long(DRM has never been welcomed, ever), now being accepted because of console preference really just go to show how console loyalty is just a bad thing.

You get a sharing plan now? Yeah, that's a fair trade off I guess. All those other features you mentioned are available now, and have been for quite a while.

Good luck playing offline. Most games, especially AAA games, will make use of the cloud which in turn requires you to be online.

Not true at all, games like Titanfalls, multiplayers games or MMO of course requires you to be online anyway, so that doesn't matter and for single player games like Dead Rising and Forza 5, cloud can add more to those games but don't require that you have to be online to play them.

Microsoft wasnt trying to steal any customers rights. Does Steam steal your rights? You can't sell your digital based games. So are they anti consumer? I think not.

Remember how Sony filed a patent to tie a disc to a console so it cant be used on any other system? Do you think they filed that just because? I would say they had a purpose. You are blind if you think Sony didn't have a similar set up to the Xbox One at some point in development. They just decided to not go that route, and Microsoft did.

Since Steam offers games for cheaper prices, its OK to "steal consumer rights?" So you will sell your rights, but just to the cheapest bidder. Sounds legit to me.
