KEMCO has released the first screens and videos of its new JRPG game, Alphadia Genesis, set to release this summer in Japan and other territories this winter. It seems that every other week KEMCO releases a new JRPG onto the Google Play Marketplace, so what makes this announcement newsworthy? It is because Alphadia Genesis seems to be a major departure from the norm for KEMCO.
While most JRPGs released by the veteran company are clones of the 16-bit adventures of yesteryear, Alphadia Genesis seems to be an interesting hybrid between the 16-bit classics and more modern RPGs. Alphadia Genesis represents the third in the Alphadia RPG series, but while the other two were basic 16-bit RPG fare, this new game utilizes full 3D graphics during battles, something that could have never been accomplished during the genre’s golden age.
Releasing on Xbox and PC, this KEMCO: 50 RPGs Celebratory Bundle on Xbox and PC should be seen as the perfect package for the JRPG mega-fan.
Yeah. It's those RPGs where you have to give Kemco your information to play and where the in game hero asks you-the player-to rate the game in the store, haha.
I love JRPGS but I avoid Kemco games. They are all very similar games and not worth owning to me. Stories are very basic. I collect most RPG games but Kemco is automatic no buy for me.
Yeah, I bought a couple of them early on, but after a while, after like the third one I stopped.
The vast majority of them are the same and not worth it

Kemco's rpgs are dull and bland regardless of where they're sold. I'd know I have some. It's why I stopped buying them.
Why does EVERYTHING have to have an "us vs. them" thing with you people?

“You people” that’s the thing I keep getting trolled for being an “xbot” I have a ps5, series x, and a switch. I enjoy games on all systems. I am not a fanboy of consoles I’m a fanboy of games. If anyone who regularly visits this site doesn’t see the slant towards PlayStation then I’m sorry but I see it all the time. My point is that I’ve seen with my own eyes games that have came to xbox first and were called garbage and then the same game comes to PlayStation and all of a sudden the narrative changes.
Also I can’t prove it but had final fantasy 16 been on xbox only it would have been panned completely. That game has some cool moments, but it’s very average and not even close to the best final fantasy game. There are ignorant people on both sides of the aisle just like in politics.

Rationalize it any way you want. But only certain people make that kind of comment unprovoked. Take that for what you will
Every time I consider buying one of their games, I always see the same comments repeated about a lot of their games and end up passing over them.
Don't let the comments sway you. Just buy 1 or 2 yourself when they go on sale and see for yourself.
I just know from my own experience how I feel about those games. You may have a more positive take than I or any other naysayers do
