They are working on something new. Not to be rude but it is impossibility stupid to think ND next major announcement is going to be a remaster or their next Last of Us entry is going to be another remaster.
I think this is in response to them releasing a remaster for the sequel, a game that didn't need a remaster.
Basically a "why did you put out a remaster no one asked for when you have all there options available"
They remaster is to put out something quick while they are deving new stuff. I don't get how people can be so static.
That was a Remake. I guess they could do that to 2, but man…. They should wait a couple generations so it can look like a major upgrade.
The team is sad for losing out on such a great project but celebrates its growth because of spending time on it.
All they had to do was make a basic online mode like their previous games. Instead they wanted more money and choose to go live service which makes games worse in my opinion.

I can't wait for season 2 so they can kill Joel off in the first 2 episodes!! Then it will be just Abby and Ellies revenge plot!

TLoU Factions was a great addition such a shame they couldn’t be bothered to remaster that for PS5 considering the crazy high price tag of the remaster of a remaster…
This is something to be celebrated. This studio is smart and they get it, even factions 2 wouldn't've have been worth the time. I am surprised they didn't just remaster the first one though, but actually how popular was Factions?
Honest and fair
I think most xbox fans dont really have a problem, most people who spread the flac, are sony fans that are afraid that Sony might follow MS their ambitions.
That was well put and I think the same way. For me the Microsoft's e3 was better than Sony's as it offered more of the games I wanted to see. I will also be getting a xbox one over the PS4 but im not going to jump the gun this time I am going to wait 12 months before I decided to pickup a console as I have found my self fall behind with games from this gen and on the WiiU.
For me both consoles look very impressive but for what I use day to day the One and 360 offer me more than the PS3/4 and the WiiU.
I also think a lot of people will be shocked on here on how the PS4 and One sell as I expect sales to be slow on both consoles at the start because of the high price point plus the big name games like COD, BF, GT6 ect are on current gen consoles.
The Xbox One is putting together a pretty impressive lineup of games. Personally, I prefer what I've seen from Sony, and think it's close regardless of preference; but I understand that more people would side with Xbox One purely based on games...right now.
A lot of people are going to preorder their console soon, if they haven't already done it. But what I would suggest is to keep an eye on Sony because they still have more games to announce, possibly quite a few. If I were a betting man, I'd bet a pretty penny that Sony will reveal at least one "AAA" 1st party exclusive at Gamescon and TGS, if not more. But, to each their own.
If you just prefer Xbox One and Microsoft, then I'll not look down on you. I just think you should keep an open mind (and wallet) for a few more months :D
The article had some good points about the always on ( it doesn't bother me )I have a good stable IP I live in the U.S.A.so I'm not too concerned about that. Having said that I am still getting the PS4 first because it is cheaper. I am not loyal to either MS or SONY I am A gamer and I will buy the console that benefits me best. I will get the Xbox one later on down the road. I did the same this generation as far as buying the least expensive console first. But I do own a 360 & PS3 so I have had the best gaming experiences this gen had to offer and I will have the best experiences next gen too.
EDIT: I also have the Vita so I want to see how it is used with the PS4.
