THQ scraps Juiced and Stuntman franchises

THQ has today announced its decision "not to pursue its Juiced and Stuntman intellectual properties".

Both franchises saw releases in 2007, with Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights and Stuntman: Ignition each releasing across multiple platforms. Although not receiving universal acclaim both titles were not without merit, Stuntman in particular proving great addictive fun for high-score junkies.

interesting decision since both sold more than a million copies each

Actually, I think the company might be in turmoil. These two games are being scrapped, as well as Frontlines for the PS3.

Citing sales numbers again. As if anyone gives a damn. I expect nothing less than unpaid corporate mouthpiece like you. The fact is both "franchises" sucks regardless of many crap in a box they sold.

Im surprised they dropped juice, although it was poor it sold quite well.

Stuntman however sold virtually nothing, so its not surprising.

Both games sucked hard sorry, especially Juiced 2;)

Whilst last month’s titles didn’t manage to rouse the biggest appreciation from everyone, there were still some hidden gems included that made for some classic additions to our gaming collections. With September all wrapped up and October upon us, it’s time to look into this month’s selection of free Games With Gold titles and see just how good or bad they are."

Overcooked is probably the best couch co-op game of the generation, along with its sequel... so it's an alright month in my book.

neil3632026d ago

100% agree with this comment. Both Overcooked games are cracking fun.

RosweeSon2026d ago (Edited 2026d ago )

Stuntman was alright from what I remember but it’s 360 game same with hitman but looks pretty average month to me.
