Metal Arcade: Gamers can finally get their hands on the Skullcandy PLYR1 Wireless Gaming Headset, exclusively through Best Buy and Skullcandy's website.
Skullcandy has announced that their latest and greatest headset, the PLYR1 Wireless Gaming Headset, is now available in black through BestBuy.com and Skullcandy's website. The Skullcandy PLYR1 was developed and designed in collaboration with the team at ASTRO Gaming, and having gotten our hands on it recently for our Graduation Gift Guide feature, we can attest to its awesomeness. It packs just about everything a gamer could want in a wireless headset, featuring 7.1 Dolby Surround Sound, multi-system compatibility (PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3), custom EQ and game-to-voice mix balancing, as well as a fully adjustable mic and a transmitter that doubles as a headset stand. You can get your hands on the Skullcandy PLYR1 now for $179.99, and an exclusive blue version of their SLYR headset is now available at Best Buy.
EB: Skullcandy sent over the Halo 5 Edition Smokin’ Buds 2 earbuds to check out, so I put it through the audio paces to see how they stand up. Quite frankly, the Smokin’ Buds 2 are fantastic earbud style headphones for the price, which is just $30, and the Halo 5 paint job and REQ pack are nice touches for the offering.
EB: Halo 5: Guardians’ launch is right around the corner, so Skullcandy has released its Halo 5: Guardians Edition Smoking’ Buds 2 earphones for your listening pleasure.
This year at E3, Astro Gaming was focusing on a pair of new products that are coming soon.
i'd be more excited about it if these worked with next gen systems... but current gen headphones do not
$180 damn, I just got the Sony pulse for $100 New from eBay and am loving them especially that it doesn't have that stupid microphone that stick out, I always hated those things
