YouTube’s ‘club4ghz’ has released two videos, showcasing the performance difference between CRYENGINE V and CRYENGINE 3, as well as the performance difference between CRYENGINE V’s DX11 and DX12 modes.
CE5 has a higher framerate but CE3 looks better at times...
I guess this is because CE5 is just supposed to be a Cryengine for VR and not much more
I expect this engine to be drastically superior to its Xdone counter-part.

I just hope the devs that will be utilizing this game engine will develop overall better quality and great gameplay for the PS4 games!
