Yea the store was down for about a hour, and that hour just so happened to be when Last of Us Demo went live (0_0)
At the time I was pissed because Sony shouldve prepared better , but then again it was only a hour so im not complaining.

I signed in and out continuously to check and see if it was my internet and within that hour I signed in and out approx. 15 times.Someone ban that troll.

132mb is just the first part, there is a second download or install that took me about 5 minute. The installed size is 2.2GB.

It's worth it though, while it was short the demo was really good at giving you a feel for the game. The combat is definitely not uncharted

See...this is why I pay for xbox live. I thought paying for ps+ would help the situation but clearly it doesn't. I never have to wait so long for the things that I want on xblive. I hope this will be a none issue on the ps4.

Funny, I use to pay for Live too, got kicked out of party chats randomly. I have BOTH systems, and I rather pay $50 for one that lets me play online free and gives me free games.

It finally started downloading for me, what I did was go to the download list if you where lucky enough to click download from the GOW screen it will be in your download list. go through the Manage Account settings ,and just keep trying to get into the download list and keep trying to download it, I got so many errors until it finally worked.

I don't have the option to access the demo! It says that in the menu screen should press SQUARE, but I don't have it! I checked a friend's copy and it says right there Last of Us Demos right below the triangle option!

How else can i access it?!

Worked just fine for me.

The demo was super short, but good. Controls take a little bit to get used to but felt good.

The game was pretty much Resident Evil meets Red Dead REdemption. The camera style very much reminded me of Dead SPace 2 only with better graphics. Other than that it had a sweet crafting system providing you with a reason to scavenge for items and combat was strategic in terms of dealing with enemies to conserve your stuff.

I liked it. It didn't blow me away, but it's what I wanted. It's survival horror with more emphasis on survival.

Ready to pick up my preorder in 2 weeks on friday.

Edit: They are doing maintenance? Really?!! That kind of ticks me off TBH, here I also thought they delayed it because it had MP to it, turns out it's the same demo the presses got, which makes me wonder why the delay, especially since they are doing this on the day it launches.

This is what happens when you make people wait months to download a demo and put it up for everyone at once. I tried downloading it right when the countdown hit 0 and nothing. Better to just let us download the demo when we get the game the demo comes with. No servers can deal with this amount of downloads at once. Will it take the weekend just to download the demo?

Downloading now, once the small download from the Ps store is done you get the Last of Us client where you can download the rest of the demo.

Playing the demo now - I also received the error update earlier but Sony has apparently remedies the error issue. I would bet it had everything to do with the games demand as I'm sure thousands of users were trying to jump on the demo as soon as the count down hit '0.

And a very good and enticing first taste, can't wait to finish the entire meal once full game comes out in a couple of days.

Goodness me the graphics is stunning, the sound and soundscape option is simply cinematic if you got the full gamut audio equipment.

Downloaded fine for me on both my systems, just had to patch gow: ascension first. Only had time to briefly play up to the first attack, but immediately I was impressed by the wind-swept rainfall, the water and the sound. Controls good, feels solid under the hood. Will play more tomorrow.
