Another new selection of screenshots taken from the forthcoming Dynasty Warriors 8, Tecmo Koei Europe is revealing new in-game action from the highly anticipated videogame. Dynasty Warriors 8 is set for release this summer on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this summer.
The Dynasty Warriors videogame franchise is known for its adrenaline-pumping action in which players take on hundreds of foes in close-combat, building up their musou meter for devastating attacks. Now that familiar formula will look better than ever, as can be seen in the new screenshots below. Dynasty Warriors 8 will launch on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on 12th July 2013, and Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details on the forthcoming release.
Dynasty Warriors has been around for two decades and has more than enough games to prove it.
New Gamer Nation:
My introduction to the Dynasty Warriors series, well-known for its familiar hack-n-slash, one man versus army combat, occurred with one of the games spin-off titles, Samurai Warriors 4-2, a game that I recently played and thoroughly enjoyed due to the easy to get into mechanics and over the top kinetic combat and wonderful visual presentation on PS4. It made me an instant fan of the series and made me interested in seeking out future releases as well as other games in the genre. I really want to seek out and play the Zelda and Dragon Quest Warriors-like games now.
VRFocus delivers the finer details of Koei Tecmo's recently revealed Dynasty Warriors 8 VR Demo, revealed for PlayStation VR earlier this week.

It's like the rest
I love the Dynasty Warriors games.
Day 1 buy!
I hated the 7th one, the AI was a complete joke, it felt way easier than the older ones, and on hard you'd die over and over by stupid random arrows. and the animations were kinda glitchy on ps3, and i hated the fact that you could use any weapon with any character because it took away from the uniqueness of each character and results in you playing with one or two weapons the whole game because the rest of the weapons suck ( especially the ones with the wind effect). the only good thing about about it was the way they tell the story before each mission, that was cool and the cut scenes were alright. i just wish they make one as good as Dynasty Warriors 4 was, because each one after it had a bunch of issues and kinda sucked.
Just bought Warriors Orichi 3. Heard it's the best one?
I haven't played a Dynasty warrior game since the PS2 days.
Hmmm, 7 was good but this looks a bit too much like it. It looks like an expansion or something. I think I'll do what I've always done and buy another Dynasty Warriors game about 5 iterations after the one I've just bought.
Interested in Warriors Orochi 3 though.
