If you haven't see the Ace Attorney movie and are into the series, I highly recommend it. If you don't follow the games, it's still the best game to film out there in my opinion.

I thought the first Silent Hill film was pretty decent, and there were a few good moments in Doom (not enough to stop it being mostly crap though), but I have to agree with the article - Pretty much all game based films are terrible.

All the upcoming films based on games will also be terrible in all likelihood, but they will still make them.
