How the Xbox One Fails the Armed Forces

Kotaku - People in the U.S. Armed Forces, are, for the most part, just like the rest of us. There are dedicated gamers in there too. If they get a little downtime, deployed gamers would like to spend it like they would at home, or at least as close to home as possible.

I'm passionate about this topic as well. Microsoft needs to stop assuming that gamers are going to always be online.

Funny thing is even for tv use , it hasnt yet proven it's worth and usefulness .

Everyone is already doing Smart tvs , we have tabs and apps , every console is a media hub ... all they have to show right now is some nerdgasm about voice controls that are still not more useful than touch or buttons . And Halo the tv show .

Doesn't Samsung have a new smart tv that also uses voice recognition?

Yep they do . i dunno if its as efficient as kinect , but i have a feeling without the hassling of catering to gaming too , they are .

they don't need us and that is the problem. CNN, NBC, Fox, etc. are already proclaiming the new Xbox the king of next-gen and that its conference was much better than the PS4's(which to them was lackluster). On top of it when read the comment section there are tons and tons of people genuinely excited for it.

Love the woody faceplate in that pick I hope its a option.

The article touches on a good point and not just for service men and women. You cant take the box anywhere where there is no internet and you MUST drag the kinect sensor around with you. The Xbox One is a clusterf***.

Really Microsoft, attacking our armed forces now. It's like Kim Jong Un helped design this thing.
