Dragon Age 3: Companions Preview

Theoretically we don’t have any names, classes, origins or stories but we do have appearances, which can speak for itself in many ways. So, what can be clearly deduced from the currently leaked images?

Thanks. I have been waiting for Dragon Age news for a long time.

The image is quite old but it seems that no one had taken a closer look. I hope i'm not too far from the reality, we'll soon know :P

ScubbaSteve3984d ago

I'm specifically waiting for the news that they're going to pretend DA2 never existed and go back to how it was in the first game.

BeZdaBest3984d ago

ea please for the love of god dont mess up these 3rd installment like you did with massive ef and dead sp..

MadLad3983d ago

I thought that Dead Space 3 was a great game, personally. No different than two, outside of a difference in pacing. With Dead Space 2 being my favorite in the series, truthfully.
Mass Effect 3, outside of the largely lackluster ending, was still a damn fine game.
That said, I didn't feel the same for Dragon Age 2 and I am really hoping they create something that lives up to Origins - one of the best old-school style rpgs of a fair number of years.

Screen shots from BF4 are relevant also for DragonAge 3, like this one

Just to clarify, the guy in picture 1 is a Grey Warden, not a Templar. And if I remember correctly, the woman in picture 5 is a Seeker of the Chantry.

Would be nice if DA3 allowed our characters to wield spears/halberds/pikes. I'm itching for something other than the standard swords/axes.

Senyra3984d ago

They have been keeping the same weapon types in the previous two games, it's quite unlikely they will introduce new ones, as it would involve new models and effects. But everything's possible. This third game is taking forever on production, so we can expect anything I guess.

Dragon Age: Inquisition Retro Review – A Nostalgic Leap Short Of Legendary

Dragon Age: Inquisition, developed by BioWare, is the third installment in the cherished Dragon Age series. It represents a major evolution from its predecessor, Dragon Age II, incorporating elements that were well-loved in the original Dragon Age: Origins but also introducing new features that stand on their own. While Inquisition improves upon Dragon Age II in many respects, it falls short of the exceptional standards set by Origins.

The quality of these free games has been awesome. Before anyone says they are not free I was already giving Amazon $6 a month for prime shipping and video this isn't why I pay for my subscription

Teflon02901d ago

Still technically paying for it, even if it wasn't your intent. They've been giving out games with Twitch prime, they just changed the name. It's the same sub as that was. If you weren't aware, great. But you're paying for it.

That being said, I don't personally care. For me as long as you're willing to pay that for 1 service and get more. I personally take it as free. Like prime video, music though the prime version is trash, and all the Twitch benefits are all free to me because I didn't care about those when I got it. Just comes with it.

Only noted because that's technically wrong as a defense to that argument, whether I'm on yourside with the initial statement lol

mkis007901d ago

It's free to anyone who has already been paying. IDK why people need to split hairs.

TinkerNation901d ago

How does Prime Gaming work? Do you keep the games, or is it only as long as you have Prime?

Germaximus901d ago

lol Nice distraction from how they're now charging people to increase viewership. It's "just an option." /wink lol
