I wanted Xbox One to be good, but all this negative news coming out post-conference. The thing is getting slammed all around on sites. All I can say is, I hope they do SOMETHING at E3 to wow gamers. As a gamer, that conference did absolutely nothing to excite me.

Agreed. Consoles are for games. It's just a bonus console can do all kinds of useful things now but I only turn my console on to play games. Sure sometimes for movies but every device plays movies now so I expect it more then care about it. Games for the win. PS4 will be an easy choice. Even if they show halo or gears at E3 it's over XBOX DONE.

Overall I'd say Sony's reveal was better simply because they showed games.

MS conference didn't speak to me as a gamer. I'm not into sports besides football but I didn't care to much about it that much.

MS said they'll show the games at E3. Well the road to E3 begins.

You can't do that. "PS4" or "Playstation 4" will be the terms the kinect won't recognize. I can see it clearly now when you said PS4 to the One, it will display "invalid command. Do you mean Dance Central 4?" And then it loads it regardless of what you do next. lol

I understand they are fighting used games and all but that freakin sucks if all our games are tied to one account. Hopefully you can use your account on multiple systems like the ps3 so u can share them with a friend or family member.

Aren't downloadable titles already this way? You can sign in with the profile and another to play together on the same console.

Downloadable games is one thing but what batz is referring to is if you wanted to loan your game out to your friend, he/she would need your account info(so they can sign in) or have to pay a fee to run the game.

I'm personally looking forward to the Xbox One. I already know Microsoft and its developers can produce great games. Its great to see the T.V and Skype integrated into it. This way when I'm on my P.C to play some League with friends. The Wife can watch her Netflix and other T.V shows. Or when I'm on Halo I can Skype instead of using the party chat system. I believe Microsoft is moving in the right direction and bringing us awesome new things with our gaming console. From a hardware stand point the PS4 and Xbox One are the same. Now its all up to the software, And Xbox One brought the Software to this reveal.

The Xbox One is nothing like the Xbox 360. Everything about it is new excluding the achievements and dashboard appearance. None of it appeals to me though.

Which should mean the one with most exclusive and unique games will separate them. Currently, that ball's in Sony's court UNTIL E3. MS did say they're having games reveal for E3.

I already pre-ordered the PS4, didn't think the Xbox could do anything to compete but I think it looks really good. None of it appeals to me but I think everyone is being far to critical of it.

They say it's not focusing on the gamers but why can it not focus on gamers and multimedia? They included a blu ray and decent specs? It looks better than what the 360 did compared to the PS3 back years ago.

I really wanted an XOne, but my interest in this thing fell like a house of cards with all of this combined:

-Anti used games
-24 hour offline mode
-Paid online mode
-Focus primarily on TV entertainment

The huge ugly box, lesser specs than PS4, and the choice name are all trivial when you have the other baggage listed above.

Pretty excited for the Xbox One! The new Kinect looks amazing and more in line with what they were originally aiming for. Running multiple apps, being able to instantly switch between different media formats, and full TV integration also looks very useful. I'm also looking forward to the DVR capabilities and the new controller. Can't wait to see Remedy's new game, more of Forza 5, and whatever else they plan to unveil at E3!

Look, when I watch a movie, I don't want any distractions. Why in hell would I want to bring up internet explorer when I'm deeply engaged in watching a good movie? Why would I want to be distracted like that?

Also, they made it sound like it was made for gamers, but it functions like it's made for people who are absolutely new to gaming.

Those 15 year one exclusives better not be a majority of kinect titles. I think that is everyone's biggest fear.

I know everyone is caught up in the used game ordeal, but do you really expect Sony to not charge you for used games? Do you think Microsoft went out on it's own without contacting the game developers about this? Game developers receive no money from used game sales and who has noticed a decline in gaming developers lately, kind of a common trend of companies closing or getting bought out. If Sony doesn't make you pay some sort of fee, then count on them losing some games that may become Microsoft exclusive. I'm not a fan boy of either as I own both a PS3 and an Xbox 360. I know Sony said the PS4 will play used games, they just never said if it would cost anything.

Devs SHOULDNT get a fee from used games! They already got paid from the original sale. What makes the game industry any different from any other mass produced consumer product on the planet?! Anything can be bought and resold but video games are somehow exempt from the normal order of business?! There has been and always will be a used market for goods. Hopefully MS sees the error in this and changes their strategy because they are goin to alienate a lot more of their customers than they think. I love gaming enough that the console manufacturer makes no difference to me. I have them all and pc but I will not be buying the nextbox unless they drastically change this anti used game strategy
