I know its hard to believe, but they are actually using a new engine this time. It might get scaled down to WiiU standards though. Its to early to know for certain. I want to assume the new engine will be for PS4, X720, PC versions of the game. While the old engine will be utilized for WiiU, PS3, X360 versions of the game.

There is no experience quite like the Call of Duty experience, it starts with the speculation about the next one, the rumors, the announcement, the reveal, the leaks, the massive marketing campaigns, the preorder bonuses, midnight launches, the major connectivity issues during the first couple weeks, the race through the prestiges etc. Whatever good and bad has come from it, its an unmatched phenomenon that should be enjoyed if you're into it. Or u can avoid it altogether but regurgitating the baseless negativity surronding COD and putting people down for enjoying a game; these people are the bane of this industry, the sheep that flock to bully those that are enjoying themselves.

I never understood why people hate on CoD for being repetitive.. I mean look at other series, are they not similar in comparison? Take Uncharted for instance. The core mechanics are still present, however they added new features.

People expect CoD to completely change. I remember when Black Ops 2 was revealed and there were comments about it looking too different. People need to make up their minds..

That was my mini rant for all you CoD haters. Yes, the game has the same engine, just upgraded. Want a different engine? Tell the devs to use Unreal Engine and see how CoD turns out -_-

I've played BLOPS2 on PC since release and no joke, never heard a kid. Maybe its not the game, maybe its the console crowd. Played halo 4 the first time the other day, first match i had to mute some kid.

4 games same engine? You know how many game series keep the same engine this gen? How many games do you continuously play on the unreal 3 engine but not complain about. double standards when it comes to COD's engine. Its not about the engine. Valve has been using the same engine for years and their new games still look great and nobody complains.

I loved COD4, I liked World at War and loved Zombies, Modern Warfare 2 came out and that's when I realized we were all being scammed. Fun games? Yes. Completely the same every time after those first two? Yes.

Nice ive been playing blops on pc and the graphics are not as bad as I remember mostly the gun models and players need to be fixed but I guess full 1080p makes a big difference,i will be keeping an eye out for this game.

The destruction will probably mainly be in single-player. The kids in the multiplayer will have the entire map leveled in one minute tops. It'd get old fast.

Why does COD get so much flak for being the same game, the reason people buy COD is not just because it's COD but because the online is fun because all their friends play COD. Yes it's the same game, but it's a fun game, just like how all those angry birds are fundamentally the same but they're fun. People don't buy angry birds because they're dumb and don't realize they're buying the same game, but because the differences between titles is enough. Also the online is filled with teenagers, but we aren't all bad, and that misfortune is not activisions fault

Obviously I'll wait for it to be released before judging it, but I'm not getting my hopes up for anything particularly new. They seem to promise something more innovative every year, and every year they disappoint.

some changes here and there will be nice to make it more fresh... it is a little stale after this generation... it seemed more like add ons or expansions than new games....

I hope they expand the map size increase the amount of users, vehicles will be a much needed add in...

Would love to see 3 teams or 4 teams... on huge maps trying to take over bases... of the other teams...

Would like to see little things add into as well one idea is mini games.... say to unlock or hack open a door to a birds nest or to better advantage area or vehicles

something that brings in new game play that will help freshen this series... Not a huge amount but not a little amount either...
