Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No – it’s a round-up of six canned superhero games. With Injustice: Gods Among Us riding the charts high and Iron Man 3 raking in the cash at cinemas, we thought now was a pretty good time for a look back.
An artist has revealed the concept art from Pandemic Studios' canceled Batman: The Dark Knight game, that was scrapped in 2008.
Came in here thinking it might have been a newer game that I'd be disappointed wasn't getting made. The Batman games have turned out pretty alright since 2008 and onwards (except for Gotham Knights and the Arkham side-scroller one).
Rocksteady killed it (in a good way) with Arkham. Hope they can "kill it" with Suicide Squad but unfortunately, I'm skeptical. Don't mind the fast-paced shooter feeling personally, but their style of gameplay in the Arkham series was just so good I was hoping at one point Suicide Squad would be GTAV-esque where you switched between characters with a more grounded gameplay fighting system. Might still be fun, we'll see.
At this point if rocksteady does not make the batman game I have no faith it will be any good.
Footage of Pandemic’s cancelled, 2008 open-world Batman game based on the Christopher Nolan film has surfaced.
With the latest Batman movie out we thought it prudent to review some of the other well known past performances of the Dark Knight. He has for years appeared on multiple console and game systems. While some titles were less than good some were downright bad and others were awesome.
Batman has done nothing but improve over time. From films to current games it has done nothing but get better which is great.
Hopefully the success of the batman series will pave the way for more succesfull superhero games such as spider man or thor or other games like that because the movies are really good but usually their game adaptations are below par.
You should all search the internet for a copy of Batman: Dark Tomorrow. It really is a special kind of terrible
Out of the six the Flash was the one that looked like it could have been fun.
someone should have cancelled superman for n64 and saved all of us who played it a world of trouble.
