they were doing this kind of crap with the last Mortal Kombat and then Nether Realm soon released packs with all the skins. I can't imagine how stupid people felt when they came out with them for 5 bucks

I don't really see the surprise, since a lot of limited time / special DLC sells for a lot of money on eBay. Also just because the item sold for $122.50, doesn't mean the transaction was pain free. eBay is strongly against the selling of codes and even if you're selling the paper or a printed out version of the code, you can still very easily lose a case if one is filed against you.
