New Nintendo Direct tomorrow, focusing on Wii U spring/summer titles

Even though I know its just going to be a recap for the Spring/summer titles, which is nice by itself. It would be great if they give us a little tease at the end about some of the new games we are going to see in the next ND, that way we can already begin the hype for them

They always give some end tease game at the end of directs, monlith's X,DK 3ds, LOZ link to the past sequal, i just hope reggie is giving the end tease.

Is it unusual that I'm most excited for what Nintendo might announce this year? Say what you will about their blunders with the 3DS and Wii-U, but they still know how to surprise. Last Nintendo Direct they announced Link to the Past 2...

I'm just expecting clarification of a few release dates and no major *new* info on upcoming games. The blurb on the Nintendo website pretty much confirms this: “We’re having a Nintendo Direct tomorrow to provide updates on upcoming summer Wii U and Nintendo 3DS games. …We’ll discuss future Wii U titles for fall and onward in a Nintendo Direct before the start of E3 2013.”

So tomorrow will just be to help us prepare our wallets for the summer. They're holding the big autumn/winter release news back for around E3.

nah.. i dont think they will give WW info on this particular ND. This one seems more for Release Date clarification. Then another one in a week or 2 for the new game announcements.

If I had to guess, it will be footage/release dates/new info on Game & Wario, Resident Revelations, Wonderful 101, Pikmin 3 and maybe even WiiFitU. Plus 3DS games footage

it need to if they want it to succeed, but for some reason i'll be shocked if it gets released this year at all. if they truly are going to release Mario this year and Zelda and pikmin and rumors of Yoshi this holiday too they better it or it won't sell. but then again mariokart and retros games will be early next year too.

Only thing I can see that will be a surprise in this Direct is if they give Wonderful 101 a realease date.

Other than that I think it will just be video of all games we are already aware of. It would be nice if they show a teaser of anything new, but that is unlikley.

Yes, I have. I played the 360 version(I got to the ice giant battle). I never picked up again to play past that point.

The 3DS version was my hope that some semblance of the old Castlevnia's could still be found after being thoroughly disjointed, but no luck.

I'm done with that series.

I think VI would be a bigger imapact than VII. both amazing but taking a 2D game to 3D, especially such a sacred and beloved game like VI would be a huge deal.

Do we know the actual number of unique viewers for Nintendo Directs? I am really wondering if this is as good a direction to go as Nintendo seems to think it is. I just can't help but think these Nintendo directs are only being seen by a small percentage of their core base and press.

If I had to guess, I would think Nintendo are counting on press to carry their marketing message for them to the masses but if you ask me the press in general doesn't seem willing to play ball. Instead we get less than enthusiastic reactions from the gaming press after most of these Nintendo Directs and that is the message rolling out to their audiences.

Don't expect anything big from this ND. I can already see people complaining about no Major news. This is only about Spring/Summer WiiU/3DS titles and the Wii U Update. Its the one b4 E3 that bombs will be dropped.

I have a feeling that Nintendo is only going to show us longer footage of the same games they showed us on the previous Nintendo direct.

Beside, it would be stupid of Nintendo to show us game footage of their AAA tiles tomorrow; because They won't have anything left to show at E3.

Not that I really disagree....but given they cancelled they E3 conference this year and are only doing a behind closed door event for retailers it seems like they will need to reveal big games at these ND regardless of timing since they no longer have that "world wide" stage of their press conference they used to have.

Like I said in another article. People expecting new game announcements from this Direct will be disappointed. They are saving that stuff for E3 time. This will focus on already announced games slated for release this summer like The Wonderful 101, Pikmin 3 and Game and Wario.
