Here are five (maybe six...?) titles that will hopefully make the rounds with next week's announcements.
Alan Wake 2 is set in 2023, yet in Bright Falls and the Dark Place, there's a recurring element that feels somewhat anachronistic.
A haunted 4k OLED doesn't quite hit the same. Analog horror is a genre for a reason, they matry much better than digital and horror. Like which sounds better, a haunted VHS or a haunted PDF
Remedy revealed that Alan Wake 2 has recouped most of the investment made by Epic. They also talked about more regular sequels for their IPs.
Damn. I was hoping this would happen faster. Control were both fantastic, albeit flawed. Hoping for more. I know he said they are planning sequels, but its hard to get investors and publishers on board when they don't see quick returns.
For how much people talk about this title you would think it was a much bigger success. Popularity doesn't equal quality and vice versa tho
Remedy and Rockstar are rolling out the red carpet for the Max Payne remakes on PS5 and Xbox, with similar development costs to Alan Wake 2.
I'm all for the titles listed except halo 5.
It's just too early for that. Maybe Halo 2 HD?
Alan Wake pleaase.
Geometry Wars 3, that would be damn awesome.
Halo 5? Seriously? C'mon now, Halo 4 is still going strong. How about a new side scrolling Conker by the team that did Splosion Man? How about a new Perfect Dark or Crackdown. List was too safe in my opinion.
My personal list is:
Alan Wake 2
Project Gotham Racing 5
Class4-MMORPG from Undead Labs
Fable MMO
Ryse
I definitely want to see more than these 5, but those 5 are definitely interesting to me.
I think we'll see something Halo, but Halo 2 HD makes much more sense and will probably release on the Xbox 360 as well.
killer instinct, jet force gemini (do they own the rights?), new ip, new ip, new, ip.
