Leviathyn.com | With the announcement of a new Mario Kart is all but inevitable, we take a look at what we'd like out of the eventual sequel.
While the genre may currently be an oversaturated one, it’s interesting to look back on how the Donkey Kong franchise even got a racer to begin with, and what stopped Nintendo from ever releasing more entries.
Man, this would be the perfect title to bring next to the Nintendo 64 lineup on Nintendo Switch Online. This game was so good back in the day.
This was better than Mario Kart 64 but far for me. I loved the different vehicles and adventure aspect.
Absolutely loved DKR. Mario Kart, as much as I love it, has yet to really capture the magic of DKR. Better in some ways, worse in others.
Mario Kart 7 has been unexpectedly updated for the first time in more than a decade.
Diddy Kong Racing, a Nintendo 64 title turns 25. Here to indulge in nostalgia and remember some of the title's amazing features.
I was downright addicted to this game when I was younger. Even among the countless classics the N64 spawned. This is near the top of my list, for favorites. I just love the hub world mechanic, where you have to unlock collectables to open up new areas. Something so satisfying about that...
Freaking amazing game. I'm not into these games anymore but this is one I'd play again. Also Fzero and I can't remember the name but this car shooting games of pure destruction.
STORY MODE: Always a good time.
NEW BATTLE MODES: No one ever plays those.
KEEP THE DRIVING MECHANICS: I don't want any transformations, unless they're unique.
DIFFERENT VEHICLES: See above.
BETTER ROSTER: Well of coarse.
TRACK EDITOR: Absolutely!
BETTER AI: How bout the option to turn off computers when you're not playing alone. I've seen this in Super Monkey Ball's racing mini-game, Wynaut in Mario Kart?
DLC: Sure, why not?
I want a game that is fun and worth the money. Nothing more.
I'm not going to tell Nintendo how to make their games. I'd rather they just continue being creative.
More tracks.
Level Editor/ Designer.
Ability to "Turn On/Off" Items.
Customization of Vehicles perfomance.
Mii Interation.
I want a full retail game that I won't have to pay $60.00 plus another $40.00 plus dollars for DLC just to enjoy the experience.
I want a game where we can compete online.
I want Mii Verse support.
I want the look of the game to be sexy where I say damn glad I own my Wii U.
