I'd prefer Samurai Shodown (loved this in arcades in the 90s, Killer Instinct, Rival Schools, Eternal Champions (Sega CD). All of these are way better choices in my opinion. Samurai Shodown had a guy with a dog that was my favorite to fight as.

edit: Turns out Samurai Shodown had releases this gen, I just never saw them before :/

Have to disagree, EX was a very different take on the street fighter combat system. Was pretty cool with chaining Supers. IV did have super chaining but you had to super cancel to lead to the next.

No, this time CyberConnect2 is the developer of Jojo Bizzare Adventure All Star, not Capcom. But from all the trailers i already seen, it looks great and worth the wait. They even include Josuke Higashikata from Jojolion.

There was a fighting game on the original XBOX called Tao Feng: Fist of the Lotus. It was pretty awesome. You could target limbs and render them useless. I still play it today. Damn good underrated fighter.

The list was 'meh' at best;
Def Jam - Yes, I agree, an very underrated franchise.
Fatal Fury - Mmm, yeah, a Fatal Fury 4 would be great, following the original story, before it spinned off into Real Bout.
Bloody Roar - Mind as well go with Battle Arena Toshiden, IMO. Or how about Bloody Roar vs. Toshiden?
Power Stone - great fighter, to be honest, but I'm thinking something like Erhrgeiz is a better choice. Hmm, maybe it could help SquareEnix out a bit in these dyre times for them.
& Fighting Vipers - sigh, again, a great game, but there are much better candidates out there. Like Rival Schools. Maybe Vipers vs. Rival?

My 5, off top of my head, would be;
Eternal Champions - doesn't need an introduction. Hey, don't lie, you neve defeated all the forms of Eternal Champion...
TMNT Tournament Fighters - what better time than now? New movie, new generation...let's do it.
Samaurai Shodown - great battle system & very much underrated. I honestly think that Samaurai Showdown should've returned before King of Fighters, not to take from KoF, but...
A new X-Men/Marvel Superheroes - bring back Spiral, Juggeraut,
Thanos...& add newbies, Nightcrawler, Blackcat, The Blob...that's what this generation needs now.

I would've mentioned Killer Instinct & Primal Rage, but everyone knows how overdue these games are. But I honestly could'nt mind seeing some out of the blue, cult favorites be remade, like;
Martial Champions - an arcade import at the game. If you could find it, you were playing it.
Ramna 1/2 - first touched the SNES as an import, a cutesy japanese fighter.
Royal Rumble/Wrestlemania - make it like the old arcade version; crazy powerhousez & arcade-style gameplay.
Way of the Warrior - revamp the whole story, gameplay, etc., thern pit it against Mortal Kombat...
Clay Fighter - the gameplay could be good, but I think the graphics for the animaton could be fun.

Def Jam was a wrestling game not a real fighting game.

Bloody roar was okay but im not into 3d fighters.

Power stone was fun but more of a party game platformer than a fighter.

Never played fighting vipers.

King of Fighters 13 is pretty much the best fighting game out right now and it has the best of Fatal Fury in it...

Killer Instinct would bring back nostalgia kids but it wont last, it would be the same results as bringing back Goldeneye.

What I would like to see again is the Rival Schools series make a comeback.
