Tales of Symphonia HD Remaster Collection coming to PS3?

During an interview with the series producer Hideo Baba, Koi-Nya has learned that a possible HD Collection is in the works for PS3.

Tentatively named: Tales of Symphonia: Perfect Edition.

I've always wanted to plat the original on Gamecube but it's hard to find and still $40+ if you do find it.

An HD remake to an already beautiful looking game would be nice though.

Tales of Symphonia is easily my favorite jrpg of all time next to Xenoblade. Definitely excited about this!

I really liked it but was always more fond of the Star Ocean games. The combination attacks were fun though.

Tales of Symphonia just felt like it was too long, the GameCube version was 2-disc and it took a pretty long time to beat.

It's good to know that they've gotten back to their roots with PS4 on the horizon. They always had something for everyone but were slacking in the jrpg department in the beginning compared to how many the PS1 and PS2 had.

Too true, I'd love to see Nintendo get some RPG love going on and this would be a great start conisdering both games appear on their platform. Regardless of system I'll get this though, Symphonia is amazing.

I love ToS, though i dont see how much of a benefit on the graphical side of things. The style of ToS would hardly change much with just an upscale, so if this is true, hopefully it will be something similar to the windwaker remake

Now all they need to do is bring the PS3 Directors Cut version of Vesperia out in the west. Hate all the region hopping Tales has had over the years. No western release for this one, then no PAL release for the next one, then full release for the next and start again :(

I also like the rumor reported on Abyssal Chronicles regarding the rumor about Tales of Xillia 2 localization. :)

Though I still wish they bring those Tales Of games on the Vita. Not localizing them on the DS was bad enough. >.<
