The water looks so good.

Looking through these is cementing my opinion that this will be the definitive GTA. It looks to have every aspect that made the series so great compiled in to one game. The characters, vehicles, enviroment, and detail just astound me.

And yes i'm a R* fanboy, but I feel that is justified.

Weather effects also look amazing.

Jesus christ I've never been this hyped for a game since Metal Gear Solid 4.

Pintheshadows3999d ago

I thought the weather effects in RDR were excellent as well so I can't wait to see them in action. The fork lightning is such a great addition. I'm with you totally. Normally I try not to hype myself up for games but I cannot help it if something looks this good.

I know many are saying that after being burned by 4 (I wasn't, I liked it alot) that they are skeptical, but reading and seeing more of 5 it looks like their criticisms of 4 have been addressed and then some.

As a fan of both series. I feel you and I should have been THIS hyped for GTAIV. Though I got GTAIV day 1, I was not THAT hyped. I knew of all the features that where being removed and not returning and how small the city was etc.

THIS GTA....has got me HYPED!!!!!!!!!!!! I've never been this hyped for a GTA since GTASA and for a game since MGS4.

The more I see this the more I believe this will be coming to PS4 and Nextbox, which is why there was a delay.

These screenshots got me thinking. Will all buildings, or most buildings/houses, be enter-able or have some type of interior? God I'm hoping so..

Pintheshadows3999d ago

That would be wonderful, sadly though I think we will have to wait until the next generation for that kind of advancement. They could feasibly make many more of the larger buildings explorable in 5 though.

I doubt we will be wandering into every house to steal tv's for a while yet though.

I will admit I doubted Rockstar after GTA IV and am still nervous, but they continue to impress with what they show that they truly listened

Cost of realistic looking movement.

Rockstar need to learn that 12 years of work and 5000 employees doesn’t account for one persons opinion on the internet…

Oh and hundreds of millions of dollars in revanue to boot.

Lots of complaints about gta ever since the hd era started and yet it's bugger than its ever been with gta vi up to 180 million trailer views alone. The next game is shaping it be be another genre defining game

MetalGearsofWar36d ago

They already learned they dont have to actually make a great game

sagapo36d ago

The controls of RDR2 felt a but cluncky indeed, but it’s not as bad as some make it out to be. At no point did I get the feeling my experience with the game was held back or ruined by the controls.
But it can never hurt to optimize them a bit, sure.

Zhipp36d ago (Edited 36d ago )

I did accidentally beat someone to death a couple times. An unfortunate mistake but besides that I didn't have any problems with the controlls

jznrpg36d ago

Red Dead Redemption felt clunky at first but I got used to it fairly quick. I thought 2 was easier to control but it could be my experience with the first game helped me out. Great games

Profchaos36d ago

I wouldn't call Rockstar games characters clunky instead they feel like they move with Weight they are not twitch controls press x to instantly snap onto cover the characters instead move like a actor would ducking behind cover they are exposed while they get there.
