Yesterday, Pandora's Tower publisher XSEED Games announced that it had acquired Atlus Online from Index Digital Media, integrating both companies under the common banner of Marvelous USA. Siliconera reached out to XSEED boss Ken Berry following the reveal to inquire if the move might lead to more Marvelous titles coming overseas.
“We are definitely interested in pushing the ‘Marvelous’ brand as much as possible," Berry said. But whether that interest will coalesce into a western release for Tamsoft's Senran Kagura series sounds dubious.
“It is something that we continue to look into because we know the demand is there as lots of fans have asked us about it,” Berry shared. “But it’s just such a scary proposition due to the subject matter and difference in attitudes between Japanese culture and the more conservative culture here in the U.S.”

During GDC 2017, DualShockers had the opportunity to sit with XSEED's Executive VP Ken Berry and ask about the the benefits of the digital shelves of PC.

A lot of people who own a console or PC can´t get the thoughts of Japanese games out of their heads. And who can blame them? As we miss out on a lot of games. And Especially those of lewd nature. So these are my (Norman, TGG) thoughts on the matter.
Well, as for the West...Both "Criminal Girls 2" and "Valkyrie Drive" got banned in Germany and Australia...

"Yup. Country SJW rules"
No wonder why more and more people are buying games from Japan instead...
Ugh, this kinda stuff is why I hate living in America at times... It's a game, there shouldn't BE any question as to how it conflicts with a certain culture. It's fictional, who the hell cares? Idiots that have nothing better to do than complain...
It's not just for this game, a lot of games over in Japan in general that we miss out on because of stuff like this.
Lets see if they do it.. I would love to see what happens if this game ends up on the NA eshop lol.. DO IT!
What's so good about this game? (other than the boobs)
Seems weird title for localization? How popular is this one stateside?
Vita version would be day 1 for me
