In another visit to The Basement, RebelGaming.com's Andrew Duval discusses the issues with video game journalists critiquing game design.
From games that digitaltrends DeAngelo Epps has always wanted to play but missed out on, like Odin Sphere, to newer titles that he'd love to re-experience like Yakuza: Like a Dragon, there was enough there to justify diving back in. And those titles aren’t even a small percent of what’s available here. Vanillaware titles, Square Enix games, NIS franchises he’d never even heard of — there’s a whole lot to dig into.
PSPlus is Amazing for RPGs and NIS America, Square Enix and Vanillaware games are perfect for PSPortal.
Not really a 'secret' but a paradise indeed, I just finished Soul Hackers 2, pretty good, and started Labyrinth of Galleria and I am having a blast. Tons of great RPGs in the PS4/PS5 family
Perfect for playing on the Portal, since rpgs can be such timesinks. For those people who can't stay glued to the TV, it's good to give some freedom around the house, out on the porch or whatever. I haven't picked up a Portal yet, bc of life priorities, but I definitely anticipate picking one up asap and playing more rpgs!
I'm currently playing Final Fantasy VII:Remake for the first time on PS5 and I am freaking blown away by this game so far. I don't know why I waited this long or due to my huge backlog but had to be honest, this game exceeded my expectations.
If you've come looking for great games, you are in the right place. Here are the best Co-Op Games you can play on the PS3
The load times in retrospect are unbearable but I did have hella fun playing couch co-op with my gf on the PS3 and PS2.
Resistance 2 co-op was amazing! I wish they would remaster resistance 1-3 and killzone 1-3 for the PS5.
Let me save you the time to scroll down no Warhawk or Starhawk, 2 of the best co-op games on PS3
Vanillaware announced that it will host the "Vanillaware 20th Anniversary Fes" event in Japan with two separate exhibitions in Tokyo and Osaka.
I would totally be excited if they where to announce a new rogue-lite or Metroidvania RPG.
They take sides or they sometimes say a crappy game is good. Pretty simple, I play what I enjoy playing.
game critics are alot like movie critics, they are not to be taken seriously. imo play a demo and make your own judgment.
that just it... you cant say they cant be taken seriously when they affect the market as much as they do.. classic point... the copy and paste game MW3 got a 9 from the very CoD focused, friendly and fanboy reviewer filled site IGN.... yet most of the gamers that play that game agree it's one of the worse CoD games ever...and every military FPS that doesn't have "CoD" in the title has fallen victim to IGN's blantant fanboyism and double standard.
Sadly, until gamers wake up and realize them for what they are, military FPS games are in danger of being down voted out of existence as far as IGN is concerned. When there's an agenda involved, reviewers should be thrown out with the bathwater. The difference between movie reviewers and video game reviewers is that video game sites get money from views related to certain titles, for example... they will NEVER bite the hand that feeds them... Thus you will NEVER see and read anything bad about CoD from the ultra-biased IGN..
Those who can't do, teach. Those who can't teach, become critics.
Lol, I don't think most of the comments so far have read the article.
