3 PS4 exclusive first-party video games Sony should announce at E3 2013

Bubblews: "Sony is holding their E3 2013 press conference on June 10. The company is expected to announce several new video games for the PS4 in addition to other details. To further build up momentum for their system, Sony should announce the following exclusive first-party video games."

While Sony does own Demons Souls franchise, FROM SOFTWARE is what defined it. It would be a bad idea for them to give it to another team and have it butchered. And I doubt FROM SOFTWARE wants to go back to a single platform. Esp. since Sony didn't even want to publish the game in other territories, they had to find other publishers (ATLUS for America, Namco Bandai for EU)

Owning the franchise doesn't necessarily mean it is still viable to continue it, esp. if the original team is hard to replace.

Either do it right, or not at all.

Yeah Sony handled the From Software situation pretty poorly. The more who get to play the souls series the better anyway, best franchise this gen.

i'm hoping they're gonna pull some games from the PS1 or PS2 era like a new Dark Cloud, Legend of Dragoon, Syphon Filter and Mark of Kri.

Otherwise i'm sure they're gonna show big stuff at E3 like every console announcement they've had in the past i'm not worried at all for this E3 i'm more wondering how they're gonna pull a nice marketing campaign and respect the release dates for their biggest franchises.

Naughty dog have always made a new IP for each console, but seeing the success and how much people love the UC series, it may be uncharted 4............. but i doubt it.

I think uncharted 4 will 100% happen I hope it is not naughty dog maybe a team under the supervision of naughty dog but I want naughty dog to make another new ip that studio seems to just bleed amazing games!

Plus I would like a syphon filter, the getaway, a real tactical socom all on ps4

Uncharted should wait. Since 2007 we have had enough of out fair share of Uncharted. Wait until the console has been out a while, take advantage of the new hardware and make it feel as new as possible whilst maintaining the Uncharted feel. I don't see Demon's Souls 2 doing very well because of the Dark Souls franchise.

I want to see new IP's again. It was awesome falling in love with so many new IP's this gen.

I agree. A new IP that defines a generation in the way Uncharted did this time is what I want. Im on the fence for a PS4 at launch atm. I have a hunch that I may get pushed off the fence come the second weekend in June though.

I am also on the fence for a launch PS4. Dark Souls 2 is coming out later this year, GTA5 and I have a backlog of games thanks to PS+. Why do I need a PS4 at this point in time?

If I could play PS3 games on it then I would buy day1.

I also agree I wouldn't wanna see another uncharted until 2015 to say the least, this gen weve seen shorter development cycles for sequels, I mean look at COD and Assassins Creed, it just over saturates the market and doesn't leave much for variety.

Anyway one thing I've always liked about Playstation consoles is the New Ip's you get every gen, I wonder what we're gonna see on the PS4

the main guy from Demon Souls and Dark Souls left so he should come back and make Demons Souls 2. Dark Souls 2 will suck, plus its only ps3/360. I smell expansion dlc, nothing ground breaking. Pretty soon Dark Souls will be the new CoD and Assassins Creed xD

What Sony is most likely gonna do is introduce a few more new IPs. But what I especially want is a a complete full showing of Drive Club.

Imagine Uncharted 4 in PS4!! Seriously. If some people had enough of Uncharted games they should go and play something else or do something else. You are not forced to play Uncharted or other games but i and i think many people would like to see a new Uncharted in the new PS4. Sony has done a very good job with PS4 so far. They will suprize us in E3. Wait and see what is coming...

I hope that Sony will ignore Uncharted for a while. I had great times playing the series, Specially UC2, But I think ND should let it rest for 2 years, then blew my mind again on PS4. I want it to be a new experience with superior dialouges like UC2, new weapons, great story, graphic, smooth gameplay.
It would be great if they announced:
1- Syphon Filter
2- New IP (Survival Horror)
3- New IP (hack & slash), something rivals GOW.

demons souls 2 might not work out because from software wouldnt be behind it..Uncharted needs a break & the last guardian has been promised to PS3 owners (lets see if its fulfilled).. Syphon Filter needs a reboot so that might work out if executed properly..

The Last Guardian is actually a game Sony shouldn't talk about until it's officially ready: I originally purchased the PS3 because of how much I loved Ico and SOTC, and almost 7 years later there's still no release date. Announcing that it's switching development to PS4 is a really bad idea since it basically means we can't count on them.

Demon’s Souls 2 - Well, perhaps if the core team from Form software returns to development. But we all know they're hard at work at Dark Souls 2 so this probably won't happen, and putting an inexperienced dev on this franchise will just fill as if Sony is trying to milk it (See MS and Crackdown 2).

And Uncharted 4... I dunno. It will probably be an awesome game tapping the PS4 power, but The last of Us isn't out yet, and unless there's another team inside NG working on it already we can probably expect a release at least 2 years into the future. A bit too early to announce it I think.

There are TWO teams at Naughty Dogs since the development of Uncharted 3. One is making The Last of Us, the other is working on something unannounced, which will probably be Uncharted 4. If it is a new IP, then Naughty Dog will start next gen with two new IPs moving forward, which is great.

I am more interested, actually, in what Santa Monica Studios is working on. They only have made God of War for a long time, and they should prove to fans that they can do something else and as good too. As long as is not a FPS or something with guns (as in rifles, pistols, etc.)
