VG Republic Writes: It is a baffling factuality that there has never been a portable unit that gamers wanted more, but has received less support than the PlayStation Vita has since its inception. It's a sad truth, the gamers have finally achieved gaming nirvana on the go and they have nothing to show for it in terms of games to play. The Vita is undoubtedly slipping further down into the dark abyss that lies ahead of it, and the questions surrounding is what is Sony's plans for the system with a brand new home console on their mind seem mottled and is anyone's guess, possibly even their own. There is no reason that the Vita should be experiencing the hard times that it has as even porting should be easier than what it comes across, just judge it from the number of titles that are available today. The date was confirmed by Sony yesterday, for the E3 press conference that Sony is planning to hold on the 10th of June at 6:00PM PST and the main focus will be the next generation hardware, so where does the Vita fit into their plans?
Sony has recently published a new patent that wants to dynamically handle the games' difficulty and gameplay based on the player's emotions.
This is something I might use. Sometimes I play some good games but they don’t have difficulty option and are a little too easy.
cool idea
cool idea for horror games especially
the way it's explained here sounds like it could never be forced hopefully, so that's ok with me
Sony has recruited Bungie's head of revenue Jaremy Rich to head up its live-service gaming division, Rich has announced on social media.
Please do not put Destiny’s monetization into Sony’s first party games. The monetization is what’s driving players away from Destiny.
I mean, this person made some pretty bad decisions at Bungie. I hope they've learned from them because I definitely don't see those type of ideas as good for PlaySation in general.
Ps5 gamers in 2023 seemed to play more live service types of games, so regardless to how people feel about them, numbers don’t lie and Sony is going where the money is. I mean look at the excitement around Helldivers2, people are showing that they want live service games.
How do you kill a franchise that already been killed?
Destiny’s grind, cash-in-on-playbass-cha-Ching, and pop-culture-insertion mainstream-me-too bs totally killed any rep Bungie had. Sony/Bungie, if you are doing this to ward-off players, it’s already working.
Sony has patented to add multiple dialogue modes to let players switch between how many conversations with NPCs they want in the game.
Sony is like the only ones outta the 3 that has atuff like like this pop up changing thing in ways.
Yes, why not? Vita needs much needed support and when new games are to be announced, with a price drop, it will sell like hotcakes. There's a strong confirmation that a price drop will happen in june- august. Many new games are coming out soon, such as Killzone M (September), Tearaway(October), Jak and Daxter collection (June), sly collection (this year)... etc I expect a lot of bundles on the horizon. :)
I expect a price drop on the memory cards, the announcement of a 64GB card, a GTA game for VITA(biggest announcement, and several new ip's/games.
so full of negativity..... so full of doubts......
seems a lot of you.... have forgotten the rough times of the ps3 and 3ds in their first years or two.....
just because killzone and tearaway are the only titles announce FROM Sony doesnt mean they dont have something hidden within their sleeves,
ofcourse it will have its time on E3 and will have its own games announce
sometimes the lack of patience of a person makes him/her do something that eventually he/she will regret in the future....
Last year the vita wasn't or barely mentioned during E3, too much time was wasted on wonder book.
Hopefully no more vaporware like RE(PSP), Bioshock, ZoE and Borderlands(rumored).
I think we can at least expect new games (either sequel or a new ip) from the makers of GR and UCGA.
More KZM footage is pretty much a given.
Another CoD seems possible but I think the spot may have been filled with KZM.. unless the new CoD will be released late Q4.
I think there will be at least 1 new completely unnanounced(/no rumor/out of nowhere) game as well.
There's probably going to be one or two localization announcements (GE2/Toukiden/etc.).
Then a port or two (Injustice? Batman 3DS multi-plat?).. and lastly; a bunch of indie announcements.
