Like Sony's PlayStation 4, the new console is expected to hit stores this holiday season and many analysts and investors are hanging their hopes on the new machines to kickstart the video game industry back into growth mode.

Hmm those recent rumors (as well as yield issues, see bottom link) about problems in development could knock the launch back into next year, which wouldn't be the end of the world.

If your referring to playstation fans, Yes we have games to play. Im just resting my PS3 and looking for trolls like yourself here at N4G on my spare time. And we still have incoming games which is confirmed and has a release date. Can you say the same for your system comrade??

I expect it to be black with bits of neon green in it. To have a very comfy controller. To have a better Kinect. Be on par with PS4 in terms of power. And I expect MS to continue to misuse the Rare brand which you can probably tell by my Avatar makes me sad.

I hope they make a game console. I don't want or care about all the other"features" My smart tv and my cable box handle all these things with no problems or paywall other than my cable and internet bill. Though I do concede that a lot of people will be stoked on these ideas, the only thing I need from a new xbox is games. And please make multiplayer free?
