I have no doubt the game will have claymores. However traps suggests other things.

Like say for example, a trap door on the ground that opens when activated by weight or a tripwire or whatever.

You know, the way "Traps" usually work in games or movies.

I dunno, I'm pretty skeptical especially since none of the CoD games have had much innovation or enthusiasm put into them since CoD 4, and MW2 (understandably flawed due to legal stuff).

Also, I can pretty much guess that this will be "Ghost's" story, he'll probably have a family and such, and this will generate hype for the next MW4.

So is COD the only game where people bitch about camping? Because if the game was anywhere close to a real situation, people would "camp" like crazy. I camp in COD because i like to edit my games when i hit the bigger killstreaks. People say its not fun when there are campers... why? Either stay away from that spot, or go kill him. Hes in the same spot FFS. Its not that tough. Besides what do i care if other people over the internets have fun playing a freakin video game?
Camping is always going to happen in a game with KILLSTREAKS...think about it.
....and before anyone says it, camping does not require skill BUT NEITHER DOES COD. If you REALLY care about CODs K/D ratio, just wait till you buy next years copy and it will reset.

I don't know who 'Ghost' is and honestly I don't care since I never play the single player campaign of any COD or MW. I only hope the multiplayer stay fun and full of maps and options.

1) Bitch about "campers" in COD because not everybody feels the need to book around a map a million times hoping to pick up that shock kill

2) Bitch about the "run and gunners" that don't feel the need to just sit and spray their semi auto sniper rifles from half way across the map

3) Troll a game that many even admit they don't play and haven't played in some time, because you know, when you don't play you just have tons of insight

4) Bitch that it isn't a Battlefield replica, cause all shooters just need to be like Battlefield

5) Bitch that (insert game name here) didn't outsell COD once again so COD is instantly shit because they can move 15 million+ every year and that's just not fair

9) Rant that some random ten to fifteen year old gunned them down in COD so many times it made them want to cry, instead it's better to come here and generalize that anybody that plays COD has to be between those age differences and has ADHD, leaving out the bit where if you listen, most are older than you think

10) Attempt to degrade the COD players by insisting that it's some sort of tragedy that COD can cater to so many players and have so many active games going on at once while their game of choice gets left in the dust

Think that covers it all. Wouldn't make much sense for Activision to follow a proven formula though that brings in millions of dollars and millions of players every year. It makes much more sense for Activision to give that up and potentially alienate the huge crowd that's already there supporting the title and has for some time. /s

Oh, can't forget this. It's precious to see so many bitch about EA over every move they make but then when the topic of COD comes up they seem to instantly forget EA publishes the Battlefield series they like to hype up so much. Never mind the fact that EA does something similar, releasing Battlefield every other year with that filler title Medal of Honor filling the next, very similar to how Modern Warfare and Black Ops are published...

Year after year EA goes out to talk about how that next Battlefield or Medal of Honor game is the "COD Killer" and yet... COD perseveres every time, stomping all over both titles in terms of sales, active games at any given time, player count, and general word of mouth.

Lets see how this turns out, I haven't bought a COD game in years because the series just became so stale it was frightening.

However, seeing as its been some time since my last COD, and considering this is going to be a Next-Gen title, I am looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

In my humble opinion, there can be no better time than NOW, IF I am ever going to get back to playing this franchise again.

While I accept memory limitations on the PS3 means either small maps with decent graphics or large maps with over compressed graphics I won't be bothering with future CoD titles if map complexity and size stays much the same on the PS4

Well if it releases on both this and next-gen systems, I hope the next-gen versions are WAY better and have more stuff. Better graphics, gameplay things and what-not. Assuming next-gen is capable of WAY more than the current systems do now. Different version so to speak.
