OK, that's one possible place to pre-order this off the list. A digital wallpaper? LOL wow.....do these companies really think gamers care about digital wallpapers? I've been telling Sony about this BS on the Blog too with wall-papers for pre-ordering......people pre-order for awesome/exclusive in-game stuff most of the time. Not wallpapers.

Now to wait and see what Gamestop, Best Buy, WalMart or ToysR'Us offer for pre-ordering. Whichever gives me the coolest in-game items is getting my pre-order.

I don't mind if it was a poster, but yeah Wallpaper aren't really bonus pre-order considering that anyone will be able to download them right after release.

digital wallpaper aren't really exclusives now are they.

I_LOVE_MYSELF4005d ago

It's a very lame bonus, indeed. Although I generally don't like in game items as bonuses I think this is a game that could benefit well off it. Some XP gear to help you through the first hour or so.

Have this game on PC and I regret buying it. I grew bored easily.

PsnGammer214005d ago

Well your partially right, most the time it is for the physical stuff that people will put the pre order down.

Roccetarius4005d ago

Well, Blizzard haven't been in the console business for some time. I guess they haven't thought about looking at the changed market.

Most of the time though, the digital items in pre-orders are useless after a short while.

Love or hate the game....that's a pretty sweet cover.

Who the fck care about this garbage? It's a disgrace & a sacrilege they even decide to name it Diablo, when the devs who made it have nothing to do with the original devs from Blizzard North they r just some retarded WoW devs who ruin one of the most anticipated game sequel of the last 10+ years.

We r very lucky that a bunch oft ppl who r true Diablo fans decided to make a game that keep the spirit of the old school Diablo games alive, Path of Exile filled the gap D3 create for me & thousands others dissapointed fans this game is the true spiritual successor of D2.

Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky have to be up there. We're lucky and cursed, equally, to have games that can be updated now. For folks old enough to remember the Sega/SNES into PS1 and even 2 eras, if a game came out that was half baked (*cough*Angel of Darkness*cough*) that was it, no redemption. At the same time, having the option for updates shouldn't be an excuse for half assing games.

thorstein77d ago

I remember when the Nintendo Seal of Approval meant something.

All those games had to release without bugs.

Comebacks shouldnt be a thing in videogames. Just saying.

Diablo III - Still a Huge Draw in the Face of Diablo IV

Diablo III still works on modern PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and remains hugely playable a decade after initial release.

Palitera386d ago

Are you comparing a continuously improved 10+ years old masterpiece with the... beta of an unreleased game?

kevco33386d ago

Heh, yeah. There's no comparison in here! Its a commentary on how III is still very playable over a decade later.
