A used 3DS from Nintendo is a good idea due to the warranty, price and fairly cheap cost of shipping. Just avoid the "bundle" with Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, as you can buy that game cheaper used.

Better off just spending a few extra $ and getting one brand new... I guess if you're $40 short, though... this is definitely the way to go...
