That could work, but only with the television series actors doing the voices. Love that show, been a fan for the length of the entire show. Great music would also have to be a must for the game, ACDC would be the obvious choice!

Donnieboi4009d ago

If TellTale Games did it, then yeah, definitely. I like how they handled Walking Dead's transition from TV/Comics to videogames.

MaleManSam4009d ago

No AC/DC doesn't define that show for me (I'm Australian, So I'm pretty much sick of Acca dacca anyways lol).. But what does is...

CARRRRRRY ON MY WAYWARD SSSSOOO(AAAA)N. There will peace when you are done.. Lay your weary head to reEEEEsst...
Don't you cry no more...

*pan shot of Impala firing up and speeding away from camera*
*Guitar riff*

Fuq yeah!

At least for style's sake i could see a presentation similar to Asura's wrath .

By that i mean quests/adventures/chapters that could be presented as episodes with the formulaic layout and music from the show .

And the game itself could be some sort of alan wake on steroid

I watch this show religiously, and I have to admit it would be a great game. You have mystery, survival horror, first person shooter, magic, tall tales, urban legends, myths, allies and enemies in the forms of angels and demons, you have great boss fights, you have puzzles, and you have co-op. if it is done right it can be the next resident evil game type but it incorporates all different type of monsters. Best of all the story is already written. Honestly, to me zombies type games are getting stale. We need the were wolves, the banshees, ghost, and vampires for a change.

HELL YEA!

A survival horror/adventure game would be pretty damn awesome.

Playing as Castiel would be VERY interesting. lol

If this game were to come out I wouldn't want to be a tv character. There's many hunters in the supernatural world.

There's also Garth.

Id love to see a Green Arrow game.

Baka-akaB4009d ago (Edited 4009d ago )

Why not , as long as it's green arrow and not the show "the arrow" .

Careful i like the show , but for a game no reason to settle for the "bland" tv version with all the fantasy and dc-ish elements removed

worldwidegaming4009d ago

Only if they get the right people to do it and they do it right!
No more damn cash grabs.

Agree with all of these, Although for me personally I would've liked to have had an impact on the story for L.A Noire, the main example being the murder cases, whichever way you went about your investigations it would always lead you to the killer and you would catch him, it made it feel a bit cheap and pointless, I'd like to be able to not catch him if I don't investigate well enough.

JBH3550d ago

I'd agree with that actually. It did railroad the player a little bit. It also had a couple of really annoying cases where you had to pick from two or three suspects with not much to go on, even though it turned out none of them were guilty. And the real killer turned up on a few of those cases. It should have given the player the opportunity to question him and possibly arrest him earlier, if they were clever enough to suspect him.

i really hope its either agent, rdr2 or LA noire 2.

GarrusVakarian3623d ago

My guess is GTA5 for next-gen (and possibly PC), then RDR2, then either a new Bully, or Agent.

Mankey3623d ago

Down Vote me all you want, but I don't think it's Red Dead Redemption 2, YET.

No doubt they will return to the series, but if we look at historically precedent we see that their studios tend to focus on other games before going back to a series.

The last title that was Primarily released by Rockstar San Diego was Red Dead Redemption. (They helped with GTA V but that is mostly Rockstar North's game)

It is very likely then that we will see the return of Bully, Agent or a new IP. And then Red Dead 2 or 3 years in.

I'm merly going by what we have in the past.

Also Lukas possibly correct it could just be a port of GTA V.

alienmitch2115d ago

LA Noire 2 could easily continue the story .

Hellsvacancy3623d ago

A new IP, R* hasn't made a sci fi game yet

rivencleft3623d ago

I would preorder it, twice, then buy it like 6 times, only because THAT would be AMAZING!

Acquiescence3623d ago

YOU HEAR THAT ROCKSTAR?! KILL!

mr-phillips3623d ago

Det. Cole Phelps jr. would be on that case.

mafiahajeri3623d ago (Edited 3623d ago )

Team bondi are making whore of the orient for Warner brothers so... no la noire for you!

TrollingKoala3623d ago

I think it might go in the ways of Agent then RDR 2, but i could be wrong.
