Gust has released an opening movie of its upcoming alchemy RPG Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemist of Dusk Sky, the movie has the theme "Milk Iro no Touge" by Chirinuruwowaka, and the game will be released in Japan on June 27.
Michibiku's Jenni Lada writes, "JRPGs become more predictable as they age. The mechanics are still sound, the stories still good, and the general concept still appreciated in a world where open-world everything is becoming the norm. Think of it as perpetual familiarity. We now what’s going to happen. Gust’s Atelier chronicles can fall within the bounds of predictable, but the series’ focus on individuals sets it apart."
Bandai Namco filed a trademark for “God Eater Resurrection” in Japan on May 28, which went public today.
Additionally, Gust Corporation filed trademarks for “Atelier Sophia” and “The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book” on May 20. Both also went public today.
Digitally Downloaded writes: "Japanese game development favourite, GUST, has been shut up as a business as part of Koei Tecmo's acquisition of the company. But don't worry, the GUST developers will continue to do what they have always been doing - it's just that they'll be doing it as a more formal part of Koei Tecmo going forward."
It's good to see a male in a JRPG again, instead of just an all female cast. I think this might turn out to be a great game, based on what I've seen on it so far.
I liked the opening songs from arland series better. Now, it looks like Gust lost their tastes in music.
What the hell did I just watch?
