Bubblews: "Sony has been silent as to whether or not the PSN online gameplay should remain free for the Playstation 4. Although making gamers play a price in order to play online will no doubt help the company financially in the short term, it may also hurt them in the long run."
Available right now, Stasis: Bone Totem from Feardemic looks to deliver a mysterious new gaming experience to Xbox, PlayStation, Switch
RPG Site: "When we had the chance to play the upcoming Visions of Mana earlier this month, Square Enix was kind enough to offer us a chance to have a chat with the Mana Series Producer, Masaru Oyamada-san. We talked about the long wait for another release in the series, and what the goals were when developing it."
Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher developer CD Projekt hosted its fiscal year 2023 earnings conference, and provided details about its games and business alongside comments on the use of generative AI and licensing its IPs for mobile games.
Though this news in a way should be good new trilogy making cash taking a break from cyberpunk and all that i would like to reminded everyone that the new cdpr is pro esg. There focus going forward is to make games for everyone so the next witcher will have less everything watch the swearing/blood be political the main character might just be a woman that is trans lesbian perhaps likes dogs who knows.
see video cfo cdpr there new esg vision
https://www.youtube.com/wat...
I am a witcher fan enjoyed cyberpunk but i know the old devs are all gone the people that made red engine are all gone so this is a new team with a new visions under the esg the same esg that looks at a company like sweet baby as visionaries.
So take this news with a grain of salt as the chance of witcher 3 magic again is very low seeing how starfield removed gore to appease the masses and we are gun ho with live service. We will see what this looks like but keep your expectations low.
I mean remember how netflix wither is being handled though yes more on that teams side than cdpr but yikes.
I will leave rebel wolves site they are made up from former cdpr devs
https://rebel-wolves.com/
Though still hush hush on there new rpg.
I honestly think Cyberpunk is one of the best games I’ve played this gen. The immersion is still better than any game I’ve played in the past several years. Really glad this did well, but we all know CDPR better not bull sh*t people with fake trailer and gameplay previews or try to hide a dumpster fire last-gen version of a game.
It will along with cross game chat and sharing (since it's on the controller), but streaming, spectating, and taking control is going to be on + for the same $50 fee along with all the current benefits. At least that's what a man would do.
As much as I would love it to be free, I totally understand if they require payment. I doubt they can just give us all those features for free, and Xbox live has proved that people are willing to pay subscriptions.
As long as i can still play single player games & access my netflix & mlb.tv without having to pay a fee ill be happy. The reason i resent live (yes i own a 360) is because i refuse to pay for this.
I really think online gaming will remain free, but they'll off things like streaming, etc. for a subscription.
The way I see it Sony will keep psn free to combat Microsft backwards compatibility !
While psn will still be free with the expected ps+ subscription for those who want a little more meat on their bone.
On the other hand Microsoft will probably offer backward compatibility, you'll still be require to purchase Xbox Live to even access the multiplayer portion of any games old or new.
