Pretty cool feature. You can use remote play to start the downloads as well if you are set up for it.

Awesome, I could have used this yesterday to download God Mode, but good to know it's there for the future/..

What would be cool is to be able to download the games on your PC and then transfer them over to your PS3 on a USB drive. PS3ProxyServer is giving me problems for some reason with downloading games onto my PC. My college has ultra-fast internet, but at home my internet is like dial-up in comparison.

killcycle4012d ago

They don't want people having the games raw because of piracy. So they won't let you do that.

With heavy-duty encryption that can only be decrypted on a PS3 connected to the PSN I don't see piracy too much an issue.

ask that to pirates, they'll laugh at you. Sorry, rather they keep their games on strictly between PSN and the consoles....

I'm pretty sure that hackers could just get the PS3 HDD and find the raw files there anyway.

A little off-topic, does PS3 download speeds depend on your internet connection or are the download speeds capped to a certain speed.

I have a 50meg connection speed but downloads are really really slow even with a wired connection.

@hkgamer

i dont know about at 50megabits download speed, but i have 10megabits and it downloads at full speed

MasterCornholio4011d ago

And I have a 100MB internet connection and everything downloads extremely fast for me. I played tons of games online and I never ran into any connection issues.

Ranking the Devil May Cry Series

VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "Upon finally finishing Devil May Cry 5 recently - after it spent several years on my “I’ll play that soon” list - I considered giving it a fittingly-named Late Look article. However, considering that this was indeed the final piece I was missing in the DMC puzzle, I decided to instead take this opportunity to take a look back at the entirety of this genre-defining series and rank the entries. What also made this a particularly tempting notion was that while most high-profile series have developed fairly evenly over time, with a few bumps on the road, the history of Devil May Cry has, at least in my eyes, been an absolute roller coaster, with everything from total disasters to action game gold."

First to last for me...3,4,5,1,2.

VersusDMC3h ago

Me leaving it out should be telling of my thoughts on it. Better than 2 as a DMC game.

Still a good game though.

Friendlygamer4h ago

3,1,4,5 to me, never played 2. 5 gameplay is amazing but level design was really disappointing to me, just a bunch of plain arenas, the story felt like a worse written rehash of the 3rd and the charater models looked weird ( specially the ladies ). Another problem with 5 was that there was not enough content for 3 charaters so I could never really familiarize with any of them

2.
Dmc.
4.
5.
1.
3.

God DMC2 was an awful game.
And in case this isn't obvious it goes worst to best

Yui_Suzumiya2h ago

1 and DmC. The rest are unimportant.

DarXyde1h ago

Order changes depending on your focus. I tend to focus on gameplay/fun factor, so...

5, 3, 1, 4, 2.

I really didn't like 4 but commend Dante's weapon diversity. The retreading of old ground was pretty unacceptable to me.

But even then... Still more enjoyable than 2 for me

Tales Of Graces Ƒ Retro Review – Holding Out For a Hero

Gary Green said: Namco Bandai heard the call of many fans asking for the PlayStation release of Tales of Graces which was originally released seemingly exclusively for the Wii back in 2009. If you’re acquainted with the Tales series then Graces f won’t be something entirely new to you, yet if you’re a newcomer then you’ll find a plethora of gameplay mechanics and nuances that distinguish this series from other JRPGs. While the game finds itself following the traditional archetype of JRPGs, such as a somewhat clichéd story, Graces has something to offer to both veterans and newcomers alike.

Odd this and the xillia games still haven't gotten remasters yet.
