Knew this would happen and it makes perfect sense

US8F4018d ago

Totally. I really hope it comes with lots of information about new game elements. Regardless, rockstar knows how to hype a product and how to deliver.

About time they showed some videos!! :D

first1NFANTRY4018d ago (Edited 4018d ago )

looking forward to seeing Franklin's trailer. If he's any type of badass like C.J was, i'll love this game even more.

Edit; eat a fat one to the disagrees hahahaha

LOGICWINS4018d ago

I think Franklin is related to C.J. or Grove St. in some way. And Michael is actually Claude from GTA3, but he changed his name to conceal his identity.

gedapeleda4018d ago

Sorry man no major links to the previous games.
That's what rockstar said.

jcnba284018d ago

I'm getting sick of trailers show us some gameplay.

Crazyglues4018d ago (Edited 4018d ago )

Whut? Are you serious....???

And who are those people who agreed with you...> LoL

Rockstar is not these other companies, they use the in-game engine to make these trailers... Look at the Max Payne 3 trailers - All In-game -

I know it's hard to believe but the trailer we saw - http://bit.ly/15JUMx8 - is in-game, the game is going to look like that trailer we saw - It really is going to look that good.. (IF you just go off of Rockstar's track-record)

Rockstar doesn't do that, where they show some rendered scene and then the game looks nothing like that - If you don't believe look back at the GTA IV trailers - All In-game - http://bit.ly/12nDEce

It may be a little more close up or from a cool angle Like naughty-dog does but it's the In-game engine.

That's why I'm so excited about this one, it looks amazing Max Payne looked really good at times too in the single player game - that's why I know this GTA V is going to be amazing because it looks like they pushed it even further.. Game Looks amazing and trust me that's in-game.

R* trailers are gameplay, they just take the hud off.

Sketchy_Galore4018d ago

I really hope these are done like those Red dead and Max Payne 3 trailers that had the super-corporate voiced guy narrating like, 'In Max Payne 3, Rockstar have sought to push the envelope further than ever blah blah'. Those were always quite informative and showed decent chunks of gameplay. I hope they're not more cinematic quick cut trailers. Those things are always awesome to watch but give no impression of the actual game. The ones for gta4 were very exciting but very misleading about the overall tone of the game.

Awesome any gta news is good news.

More interested in money than giving fans what they want. Such a shame

CrimsonWing692d ago

With the amount of money they generated, I just don’t understand the scrubbing of this. It would’ve been fantastic for fans.

Profchaos2d ago

I really want to know who drove the decision to focus on multiplayer was it Rockstar or take two.

Because when online started taking off many of the studio leads began having falling outs and leading including a founder

Ikr mfs that greedy it's ridiculous

andy852d ago

This makes me sad. Trevor was one of my favourite characters in gaming

Demetrius1d 17h ago

One of the reason I believe once gta 6 release, most of us thoroughly play it, enjoy the world they crafted then after that no offline support, no dlc at all
