To be honest i'd rather not, football is a male dominated sport don't blame gaming for the lack of female footballers in the games

They might as well. Since most of their money goes into licensing music and marketing, they could at least do this.

Well, a majority of big teams have a professional women's team, but no one really follows them. Since the game is based on real players it'd mean that the data-collectors would have to take pictures of them and the animators would have to animate every woman footballer, as well as every male footballer. It'd take too much effort for such a little reward because women's football isn't as popular.

I don't really see any problem with them adding womens teams (Arsenal ladies etc) for friendlies or their own female mini league but realistically would female gamers really want to play as such a **** team? womens football is terrible probably comparable to male under 16 or less.

Probably not because it would feel like a weak add on where EA says "Look we're for equality, we're not monsters after all" Also there is the minor problem of womens footbal doesn't cross over to play against their male counterparts. However I think female referees and assistants would be much easier to introduce properly since they aren't as uncommon as they used to be.

Could of least displayed some knowledge of the female game by you know putting a female footballer on the fucking picture. Unless of course the post relates to just having female back room staff in Fifa 14?
