Early today "Defiance" servers were brought down to apply patch 1.012. This patch fixed several major issue plaguing the MMO shooter while enhancing the overall quality of the game.
Aside from general server stability improvements, players can also expect to see more active random encounters. Although these encounters no longer reward keycodes since the "Sharks in Winter Solstice" patch, players can still complete them for scrip.
Larger problems like losing items in the salvage matrix and loadouts not saving properly have also been "improved." PvPers should be pleased to see the correct capture and hold results at the end of a match now making the new episode pursuits completable. Finally, missions will only offer credit if a player actively participates in the mission now. With this change, leech camping might be somewhat rectified.
After 8 years of Defiance and 3 years of Defiance 2050, both titles are being sunsetted on April 29, 2021.
gamigo confirmed that it has acquired major assets from Trion Worlds, known for online and console MMO games such as Rift, Defiance, Trove and ArcheAge.
"Making sure to accommodate the 4K resolution is both a benefit and a hurdle with game development," says Defiance dev.
I seen an article in gameinformer that MS will be releasing an Xbox One F. $899 with 8% increase over Xbox One X. First time I seen or heard anything about it. Is it true or was it a joke?
If X could do 60fps compared to Pro 30fps may be it would matter more. Otherwise both can do well over 1080P which is more than enough. Games is what matters most.
Sounds pretty good. The Game has a few pretty rough edges so it's nice to hear they are fixing those.
How games are reviewed in this patch it later era needs to change from day-one reports.
Love this game and glad to see it getting better.
